Dr Phelps is great. She delivered both my kids and I use her for yearly checkups now.

Will not be back
I had been having problems with my menstrual cycle for almost 2 years. I would go 3 weeks daily then off for a week or two then back on for 2 weeks straight. She said that's normal. She said I could do an iud or birth control. I opted for iud. That was in Feb. I was still having a daily period. She put me on estradiol for a month. Still going. I went on birth control from April to July and bled daily. I switched to a different doctor in a different town and she took me off birth control and a week later no more bleeding. Glad I switched. I wont return to Dr Phelps ever

I freakin' love this woman. Not only is she my lady doctor, she has delivered three of my nieces and nephews. Two of those kids had their cords wrapped around them in the womb and she delivered them safely. She also sorted out my personal menstrual problems after years of misery. She has a wonderful personality and always makes sure to ask "do you have any questions for me" during each visit, even when she is clearly busy. She's blunt, to the point, but very kind. Again, I love her.

Had to wait an hour after I was called back for my annual exam. Could hear her with a pregnant patient laughing and talking next door. When she came in The room, she asked a couple of brief questions. I had no complaints, so she was going to just do the breast exam and check heart and lungs. I had to ask for the pelvic exam. Isn't that part of the annual exam? I guess she felt she could make up time on my appointment. I wasn't too pleased with that appointment.
