Dr. Dawn Snow, MD

I always feel as though Dr Snow is prepared to meet with me - looking at my charts ahead of time. She answers questions I have and I feel heard as a patient and never judged.

I did not feel connection or understanding from Dr Snow on my first visit to establish care, and I saw some red flags that have led me to search for another doctor. She said she was not qualified to discuss helping me change my anti-depressant... something even PA’s have been knowledgeable about before I switched to Mayo Clinic. It felt strange to be referred to a psychiatrist’s waitlist to switch off of an SSRI... something pretty basic. We discussed a referral to a surgeon for a separate surgical procedure I need but I never received a call back from the surgeon. Could have been the surgeon’s office dropping the ball there, but it’s unclear— Snow did not give me the name of the surgeon for me to research. Overall, I do not feel like this doctor understood the health concerns I brought to her or followed up with genuine care, and I would not recommend her to others.

She is extremely judgemental and condescending. I would avoid at all costs. She treated me like crap because at one time I had a substance abuse problem, which has been managed. I wasn't even trying to get any medication from her, I have a psychiatrist for that. I just wanted to come in and get some blood work. She took a quick look at my medication a refused me as a patient.

Dr Snow has always met and surpassed our expectations! She goes above and beyond what I expect out of a family doctor. I put my complete trust and faith in her. She is very in depth in her diagnosis. I never leave her office without any doubt. I would recommend her over and over.
