Dr. Dawna Woodyear, MD

My daughter is a freshman at Pitt and when she fell ill last week, she decided to go to the clinic on campus. Dr Woodyear saw her. She was extremely patient, explaining everything to my daughter, answering her questions, was very thorough and gave my daughter excellent advice on how to treat her viral cold. My daughter was nervous about what questions to ask and how to handle the appointment, so she asked Dr Woodyear if she could call me to listen in. Dr allowed me to listen in on the visit, ask questions and make comments. She was extremely patient with this. As a young adult trying to maneuver the large and small things of life, I want to equip my child with the skills she will need. Dr Woodyear understood this and agreed. The visit lasted over 30 minutes and I feel like my daughter has gained significant skills.
