Dr. Dean Gobo, MD

Worst ever!!! He did surgery on my back, it got infected. Second surgery he messed up my back and I will need another surgery to fix his mistakes! Do yourself a favor and stay away!

Well I am a patient who is from CT, who moved here 10 years ago. I had a previous surgery in CT C5 C6 fusion. This was done 11 years ago. Recently, I have been having difficulty with pain, numbness, headaches. I was referred to this office by my primary Dr. I contacted the office to make an appointment, as well as sending over my MRI information. I received a call back from this provider saying that he would not see me because I had the previous surgery and hardware in my neck. I could not believe it. I was refused because I had prior surgery. I was happy that finally I was going to maybe get some relief. What is a patient supposed to do? They cannot be seen when they are having a problem due to a surgical procedure done 11 years previously in another state? This to me is not a good practice and certainly not in the best interest of a person in pain? I would not recommend at all. I am left to suffer in pain and numbness because I had previous surgery in another state. ??

Dr. Gobo operated on me twice and both operations were successful. These were my 4th and 5th surgeries, the other surgeries done by different doctors. I have had less pain and difficulty after these two surgeries. I believe he saved me from a wheelchair. I would recommend Dr. Gobo to anyone. He is patient, informative and very talented.

Dr. Gobo has done 2 Neurosurgeries on me. Both very successful. Staff is very friendly and helpful as well as educated on patient needs. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with this doctor. He listens with intent to help and heal. So glad my family and I found this group of doctors.

Dr Gobo seems to be a very good and caring physician; however, the wait time was 1 hour 15 minutes for a 10 minute visit... seemed to be a little extreme... no explanation as to why the wait was so long.

I have a disease called degenerative disc disease which is an on going disease that crippled a person spine. My neurosurgeon from Florida orthopedic institute passed away did prior surgeries to keep me out of a wheel chair. He has passed away. In reaching out to the neurosurgeons at this practice for help because I still have this ongoing disease and in great pain; showed this practice my disk and my summaries and it clearly shows my spine is in need of fixing. I was told NO can’t help me.

Dr Gobo is a great doctor but his staff lacks responsibility. After my husband had surgery, was released , I called their office twice as he needed medicine as he was nauseated, nothing was called to the pharmacy. I started calling the after hours service at 6pm to finally get a call back after 9pm and got excuses as to why this happened. NOT ACCEPTABLE

Dr Gobo did cervical spine fusion - I had amazing results . He has empathy and takes time to explain things - after surgery he is always available to answer any questions ! I have reinjured my neck I will go to no other than Dr Gobo !

Dr Gobo has operated on my cervical spine twice with fantastic results! I would NEVER go to another neurosurgeon. He is obviously knowledgeable and highly skilled. Dr. Gobo is also one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. His manner is both professional and caring. Dr. Gobo definitely goes above and beyond the norm for his patients-I highly recommend and respect him.

Amazing Doctor. It is now 12 years after he conducted my back surgery - and I could not feel any better. This, despite a very active lifestyle, with plenty of running. He listened so well to me prior to conducting the surgery - and the results were literally life changing. I cannot thank him enough. I have and will continue to recommend him to friends,

Easy to talk to. Answers all questions in a way you can understand. Takes all the time you need. Very personable and makes me feel like I am in good hands and very re-assuring. The BEST DR. I had encountered in 51 years and I had many issues including Gullian Barre Syndrome.
