Doctor Death!
If you enjoy your life, or want to stay alive, DO NOT see this guy. My father in law has almost died 2x under his horrific care. This man should NOT be practicing medicine.

Absolutely exceeds expectations
Dr Leocadio, is amazing - what a real Doctor should be! He explained my (complex) medical situation in detailed, yet easy to understand language and ensured I truly understood exactly what my situation was and provided clear steps to move forward with best medical plan for me. He and his team were always available whenever I requested more information and follow up. Dr Leocadio sets a great standard for other Doctors to emulate. I truly wish more Doctors were like him. I highly recommend him!

I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. He operated on me without doing an image but used a three month old image from my previous doctor. As I recovered in the operating room he called my wife to tell her the operation “was unsuccessful“? I tried to call him the next day and multiple days after that but he refused to talk to me. He finally left me a message two weeks later when I was getting my stitches out of my back and knew I couldn’t speak to him ( I do believe someone in the hospital where I was getting my stitches out tip him off) Landmark Hospital. The operation should have never happened if he would have done imaging. A tube in my back for almost two weeks, no explanation and passing out multiple times and my first ambulance ride to Rhode Island Hospital that weekend where the hospital did do a CT and they couldn’t believe no stones? It happened in January of 2022 and to this day I can’t believe this happened to me. Brown Urology were he works were equally unresponsive.

Can't really give a review of the doctor as he missed my early morning appointment (no explanation given). Front office told me to go home and we'd have a telemed conference instead (great!) until I drove 2 hours back home and got a message that it suddenly wasn't possible so could I come back in 5 weeks? After waiting 5 weeks already for this appointment? No thanks. There are plenty of professionals in this world in this practice of medicine. I'll see one of them instead

We visited in June of 2021. I am a seasoned healthcare professional, not a provider but a certified case manager who has visited provider offices throughout the state with my clients, as well as my family. This office visit was the absolute worst and lasted all of five minutes. Dr. Leocadio was abrupt, did not review the case, nor the prior testing results. Dr. Leocardio exacts words to the patient was "I got nothing for you, and can refer you to a pain clinic". During the exam, Dr. Leocadio was reported to be very rough with this 22 year old patient and then quickly exited the exam room. Thankfully this patient did not give up, filed a formal quality of care complaint with BCBS of RI and then proceed to a second Urologist who spent 20 minutes reviewing his case, medical history and goals, performed an exam and then provided education about physical therapists here in RI who perform pelvic floor physical therapy, and also scheduled a follow up visit in 2 months.

If Wish I could give zero stars. The absolute worst doctor I have ever had the displeasure of meeting in 54 years. First of all get ready to be treated like a herd of cattle in their chaotic unorganized office. Then be prepared to deal with a doctor who ignores what your telling him and reads none of other medical professionals notes. He literally lied and mischaracterized my last appointment with him. He was also irritated when I suggested I wanted second opinion on cancer. After my surgery I went to office to have catheter removed only to find out he forgot to send me for xrays before it could be removed. Telling me “oh we forgot to tell you to go back to landmark in Woonsocket for X-rays. Are you kidding me(you forgot). He could of cared less. Thank god my wife was with me to all my appointments as she was also so disappointed in this so called doctor and will back up that he totally misrepresented my last appointment. A doctor is supposed to be your advocate not your adversary.

Dr Dean Leocadio is one of the best doctor I have ever met. I met him in the summer of 2014 in 1999, an was on the blue pill that didn't work for me, then Muss that did, but cost $150.00 each shot, and burned. He had a group meeting of 25 people. He talked about a inflatable penile prosthesis implant surgery. My wife of 34 years had pasted away in 2010,and I was about ready to date again, but sexual relationship is part of dating. I wanted to be a whole man again. On 10/30/14 I had the surgery, the care I got was great. He warned me I would be down for a week, I was. But now it is 5 years later. Dr Dean, dating is so much different then it was 45 years ago, and I have met some really different lady's. But for the past few years now, Jenny and I have been real close. Thank you Dr Dean for making my life whole again, I don't say your last name because I'm afraid I will miss say it. Bruce S in Rockford IL- Sept 20, 2019

I am a nurse. Have no grudge against Dr Leocadio but I can tell you this is one office to avoid! His staff doesn’t know what is going on and fails to send appropriate papers, book appointments, or call a patient with results of tests that are emergent. Exam rooms are not cleaned up after procedures. Dr L doesn’t explain anything about tests or treatment or follow up. Not the kind of doctor I want anyone I care about seeing.

Dr. Leocadio performed 2 surgeries to remove a 11 mm. stone. A third procedure to remove a stent. I am pleased with my experience with the doctor and his staff. They conducted themselves very professionally, my opinion based on over 30 years experience in healthcare in both hospital ands retail pharmacy. I was in minimal pain and discomfort after the procedures, much less than I had anticipated. I would recommend both family and friends to Dr. Leocadio and his team.

He did a urethra rebuild using tissue from inside my mouth. The urethra surgery went well except my cheek now has to be repaired by an oral surgeon after he butchered it. Communications is not one of Dr Leocadio's strong points. Rockford Urology employs every urologist in town and they definitely act like it. They demand your insurance deductible be paid in advance. The waiting room is always packed and backed up. Waiting times of well over an hour past your scheduled time are common.
