Terrible attitude, doesn’t listen.
I was referred to this doctor by my primary care doctor for fainting spells and general lack of endurance. She did not listen to anything I had to say. During the visit she convinced herself that my problem is high blood pressure when I have had nothing but LOW blood pressure, every doctor visit and blood draw in the past three years. I was also repeatedly hounded about the exact length of time that my fainting and dizzy spells lasted, which doesn’t really make any sense because obviously I would be in and out of consciousness. She also said in a rather rude tone that “ marijuana can cause memory loss” kind of insinuating that I was not recalling my own lived experiences accurately? I responded that without it, I have no appetite and that this was also not the reason that I was visiting this office. Because of her terrible bedside manner, I was reduced to tears before she left the room, and she did not even pretend to care or ask what was wrong or if there was anything she could do.

Dr. Jalowiec is very knowledgeable, but does not listen. She was rude and confrontational while ignoring my concerns on her chosen treatment path. Rather than take my concerns into consideration, or answering my questions she moved forward. Frequently making the treatment about what she would be most comfortable doing herself, rather than what I would be doing. Making me uncomfortable and frustrated. I am looking for a doctor I can trust with my care, she is not that doctor.

Dr Jalowiec is amazing. She has provided top notch care and made sure to run every test to narrow down exactly what my issue was. She was kind and courteous, straight to the point which a lot of doctors like to beat around the bush. She is extremely trustworthy and easy to feel comfortable around. I would always recommend Dr Jalowiec to anyone. We are lucky to have her.

The first time I met Dr. Jalowiec (transfer from a doctor who retired) she immediately questioned whether i had symptoms and then mentioned that 5% of the surgical procedures I had done fail. Wow! Thanks for your positive outlook. Keep in mind she said this without having looked at a post-surgical echo cardiogram or anything, and this was the first time I had met her. Then they misread some of my records and apparently lost one of my post-surgical echos, disputing whether it was even done.
