I highly recommend if possible staying away from her as she does not explain why she’s holding patients and her answer is simply “more things need to be figured out” forces things upon teenage patients that have caused serious issues in my case and she does not care. She hold the teenage patients as long as she can just keep the unit full. If the kid comes in after an attempt on their life she simply says she can’t help. She will hold you longer if you ask about discharge and if you do not want to take new med she forces you to. She lies to her patients saying “if you do this you can go home” just to avoid that patient for the rest of the day. She does not take feelings into consideration as these young adults teens and even children are struggling and her only goal is to force things on you until you give up. The nurses and most other staff are very nice and do not let her keep you away from getting help if you have to see her and are admitted talk to nurses or staff for help not her

How can you prescribe medication and never talk to the client or parents??? She refused to communicate with us regarding our son's mental health but more than willing to put him on medication. Everything had to be communicated through the staff and passed on to her. We requested to talk to her every day our son was at the facility but we never once got a phone call from her. She obliviously doesn't care about the patient or the family. Her behavior is unexpectable and she should NOT be working with children's mental health.

I strongly advise any Parent to stay away from this Doctor. This Doctor is totally irresponsible with her methods of Practice of medications. And her lack of compassion and humanity are some-thing else that no Parent should have to comply with. I strongly urge ( stay away from this Doctor). Sincerely D. Smith
