The Best!
Dr Shih is the Best PCP. She is very thorough, listens to everything you have as far as concerns and how your feeling. She directs you and sets up appointments with other physicians when needed. I would say the hardest part is because she is a great doctor that when you have to see a nurse practitioner there you don’t get the best care. It’s due to them not knowing you but hard on you being Dr Shih patients. But when you see Dr Shih she is the Best PCP. I have been seeing her for quite a few years now. I highly recommend her!

Best Physician on the North Shore
I have been a patient of Dr. Deborah Shih for well over 10 years. She is the most honest, kind and professional doctor I have ever known. She is attentive, thorough and a credit to her field. I would follow her practice wherever possible. Whenever I have ever had a medical issue she asks the right questions and listens. Her referrals have all been excellent. She can teach a course in human kindness bc she is the most caring Doctor.

WARNING: Do NOT make Dr. Shih your PCP.
I’ve been Dr. Shih’s patient for two years…and I’ve never seen her. Every time I schedule an appt, she sends her PA. This is after multiple ER visits (sometimes for a week at a time). Dr. Shih is a terrible doctor and does not care about her patients AT ALL. If you want a doctor who cares about you, do NOT go to Dr. Shih.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Shih since 2013 and she has always been thorough and friendly. One specific appointment stands out to me where she saved me from a condition that I thought was just a painful case of the flu. After a quick yet very thorough exam, she sent me for a CAT-scan. That same evening shortly there-after, I was treated for something I had no idea I had let go on for too long already. So much for the flu! I appreciated her expertise and concern more than she knows! I am now following her to her new practice! : )
