Dr. Deepa Thayi, MD

Had first eye cataract surgery and post-op review. Although the wait time the day of the surgery was extensive, everything went as expected and their were no complications. Dr. Thayi is very caring, patient, and professional.

I saw Dr. Thayi because I had severe pain in my right eye and was feeling nauseous. She told me my right eye was not draining well and it made my pressure high. She did a laser treatment to my right eye. Now my right eye is pain free. She surely knows what she is doing. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Thayi left me stunned with her disrespectful, shaming and abusive verbal attack on me and my disability. Refusing to sign to renew a placard, she stated I don't need one because I don't drive. As a passenger, I don't need one because my driver is not handicapped. She doesn't have time to sign. She needs educating on ADA law. I felt shamed and humiliated and will never recommend her because of her harsh, critical manner after a long exam with my complicated eye diseases. No one should ever be talked down to, yelled at and shamed for even asking for something She doesn't think I need. The most professionally, unacceptable behavior I have EVER experienced.

Dr Thayi created an excellent experience for me when I came in for a surgical evaluation for cataracts. She made me feel respected and welcomed, and answered all my questions (and more). I have the upmost confidence that I will have an outstanding surgical experience with this physician.

Dr. Thayi did my mom's cataract surgery. Very good outcome! My mom can even drive herself to the nearby grocery store with her new vision. She did not feel confidence to do that before the surgery. I will recommend Dr. Thayi to anyone who needs cataract surgery.

Dr. Thayi was courteous, professional and deliberate. She explained my diagnosis and was personable. I will absolutely recommend her to anyone with eye problems.

I had a excellent experience. She explained everything in detail so I was prepared for the removal of cataracts in both my eyes I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Thayi saved my vision! My first visit with her was about one year ago regarding sudden decreased vision in my right eye. I was so scared! Dr. Thayi found out that I had a mini-stroke in my right eye and started me with eye injection right away. She explained everything in details regarding my condition and gave me a treatment plan. She spent the right amount of time with me which eased my fear of uncertainty. I ?love Dr. Thayi and her team. I would recommend her to everyone!

They rushed us up here in the snow by continuing to call back to told us it would be 30 minute then had us wait 2 hrs. And had the nerve to be very rude when she got there..not a nice lady at all.

Dr Thayi is very kind and patient. She takes the time to explain to patient the problem well and has a thoughtful rational basis for the recommendations she makes for treatment. She has a very pleasant bedside manner.

She was prompt, friendly and explained the procedure well. She even called in the evening to make sure my mother was okay.
