Dr. Deepak Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is the most caring and meticulous Doctor I have ever had. He makes sure you get the best care possible and gives you his full attention. Can't say enough of how good Dr. Patel is.

Dr. D Patel, recently earned a humanitarian award from HCA hospital. He deserved it... I have never met a more meticulous caring doctor. Not just for the lifesaving care he provided for my mom, but everyone who knows him, people in my neighborhood, one of the nurses who helped my mom is also a patient of his, literally every person who comes in contact with him is so appreciative of the care he has provided. He is vigilant, thoughtful, kind beyond measure. He is not only a skillful, gifted doctor but he actually cares, showing up at the ER in the early hours of morning to personally oversee her care...a humble and sincere, serious person. I trust him implicitly; i am grateful to him more than words can express.

Office staff is very rude.

Dr. Patel is an excellent physician. He treated my 94-year-old father this past November. Some of the staff at the hospital seemed to “give up” on my father early on; however, Dr. Patel offered hope, something that is desperately needed in this world. As a Licensed Mental Health Provider, I am seeing an increasing and disturbing trend of substandard care for the elderly. It should not matter what one’s age is as everyone should be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion. Dr. Patel demonstrated a true spirit of what a physician should be…talking with the patient and family about treatment options, providing hope and compassion, and having an excellent bedside manner. Although my father passed away three days later, I wanted to thank Dr. Patel for his optimism and concern for my father.

Deepak Patel is the BEST PCP/Pulmonologist in the history of ForEVER! I began as his patient in 2014 following what was thought to be a fatal car accident. He became both my primary care AND pulmonologist until I moved to SC in 2018. My history (starting in 1986) was already very complicated, having developed a Latex Allergy (from gloves) during my career as a nurse anesthetist, that affected my LUNGS. I saw Dr. Patel probably monthly (2014-2018), and often more frequently (sometimes weekly, or even 2 x/week!) during those four years. I was NEVER rushed, and he ALWAYS gave me however much time my condition warranted! Dr. Patel (and his Nurse Practitioner, Crystal Brown) are EXCEPTIONAL- I never felt rushed or that my concerns were dismissed! Anyone complaining of having had to wait to be seen has NEVER BEEN SICK ENOUGH to APPRECIATE the quality of their care. Keep up your QUALITY-of-Care!! In appreciation, MaryLou Forbes, CRNA

My experience with Dr. Patel is that he is a wonderful docter. He is very knowledgeable and makes sure his patients don't leave his office with unanswered questions. Each patient gets as much time as they need. I left his office on my first visit with medication that stabilized my asthma for years. When I experienced a joint attack of bronchitis and pneumonia last fall, he treated it aggressively, visited me daily in the hospital and closely monitored my progress. I couldn't ask for better treatment than I have received from Dr. Patel.

Dr PATEL is very professional, knowledgeable, in depth detailing your medical situation, great with follow through AND, he truly cares. In my 85 years, the best doctor we have ever had. Wouldn’t fill this out if I didn’t believe it.

Can’t seem to get anyone on the phone. How are you supposed to make an appointment if no one answers the phone or returns your calls? No impressed.

This place is a joke, they make appointments before the Dr is even here and they over book themselves, all about greed and money.....

He is excellent at diagnosing your problems and finding right treatment. He has good patient skills as he puts you at ease with his knowledge and understanding. His only flaw may be he does talk fast with an accent and sometimes hard to understand.
