I have known Dr. Maughan for more than 20 years. He preformed 19 surgeries on me. He saved my life. He is the reason I am able to speak. Years later when it was discovered I was no longer in remission and I needed yet another surgery he cried with me.

My experience with Dr. Maughan was the worst I've ever received from a Doctor. He seemed rushed to get my appointment over with. Never asked me if I had any questions or any other concerns, which I did have other concerns but was distracted by his eagerness to get me out the door I forgot to ask. His explanations didn't make sense and it wasn't because I didn't understand what he was saying. Worst Doctor ever, he needs to retire.

Dr. Maughan did surgery on my infant daughter about 31n years ago. He performed perfectly and fixed my daughter's nose. It was a surgery that had never been done in Boise. He designed a medical device to keep her airways open. At times, he had me come in daily to check her progress. He is my white knight. He did a couple of other surgeries on her and one on my husband. would highly recommend him. You can tell that he is very kind & caring. He is the best!

Terrible. He was rude, pointed his finger at me and I was only asking questions about my hearing loss. He had very negative things to say about my diagnosis from another ENT doctor and never explained fully the difference between that doctor's findings and his findings. He upset me so much I was in tears when I left his office. I will not go back.
