After a diagnosis of Coronary Artery Disease and Systolic heart failure in February 2020, I was referred to Dr. Mavroidis. Mavroidis recommended a coronary artery bypass using arterial graft(s) surgery. He did a bypass surgery on April 19th, 2020, at Sunrise Hospital. After four months with no improvement or noticeable recovery, my cardiologist recommended new tests and uncovered that my ejection fraction had dropped from 55% to 35% after the surgery. I had an angiogram to explain the fall of cardiac efficiency and completed a stenting procedure on the bypass graft attachment to the LAD. The graft performed by Mavroidis was too narrow, impeding blood flow through the implant. Stay away!!

Dr Dimitri Mavroidis performed my surgery 7 1/2 years ago and as of September 20/20 I am still doing good. He is an excellent surgeon in his field. When he did my review before my surgery he told me what it is he does, how long he has been in practice. Dr Mavroidis gave me a choice between a mechanical valve or a pig valve and he also did my quadruple bypass at the same time. What I liked the most about Dr Mavroidis is that he is forthcoming-No Nonsense-exceptional surgeon in his field. If there were ten stars that’s what I would choose. Dr Mavroidis preformed surgery on my husband September 25th and saved him from being paralyzed or worse. Thank you doesn’t seem good enough. We will be seeing him for the second time on Monday.

Dr. Mavroidis saved my life just over 5 years ago doing a heart valve replacement during an emergency visit in which I was given a 10% of survival. If you smoke, QUIT! He just completed EVAR vascular repair last November, 2018. I was very lucky to have found him and Dr. Ahsan here in Las Vegas. They're the best Heart and Vascular team. Thank you both.
