Dr. Demir Baykal, MD

Appointment was rushed to the point that it felt like he simply looked at me and said I too young to have issues, as if I wasn’t referred to him for these disabling issues. Medical history was disregarded and dismissed! Also didn’t (or couldn’t) answer our questions, as if they were ridiculous to even ask. Bedside manner needs improvement, as does his cocky attitude regarding his seemingly outdated knowledge and alarming beliefs regarding diagnoses that “aren’t actually real, in his opinion.” Unless asked for a second opinion, Dr. Baykal would do well to focus on what the referral is actually for - reducing and preventing symptoms, not telling a patient they’ve been lied to for three years by other medical professionals (including those within his affiliations).

Very knowledgeable and professional. Takes all the time necessary to explain things and answer questions in language you can understand. Patient, kind and caring. You know you're in good hands with him. I highly recommend Dr. Baykal.

I honestly couldn’t sit here and right enough good things about Dr. Baykal! My dad was a patient of his for at least 8 years , perhaps longer I’m not really sure! Ultimately, i know and believe in all my heart Dr. Baykal extended my dads life beyond medical belief! My dad was very sick , with a list of problems, Dr. Baykal always did whatever it took to help my dad! I heard him once argue with another doctor in my dads offense, telling the other doctor that he would take all liability for my dad if something unfavorable would happen! My dad died just 6 months after moving out of Dr. Baykals area- (out of state move) I’m devastated and greatfull, I know my dad was always in the best of care until he moved. If you need a good heart doctor, don’t settle, don’t hesitate! Dr. Baykal is the BEST BEST BEST OPTION! He moves with the grace of G-d .

On my first visit with Dr Baykal, he walked into the examination room and gave ME my entire history. Yes, he had actually read it and at that point I realized that this man was someone special. I feel so blessed to have had him as my cardiologist and miss him and his care as I have moved out of state. Did I mention that he is extremely fit and a good example for his patients.

Dr Baykal is by far the absolute best cardiologist. His knowledge is priceless. He is kind, compassionate, thorough and extremely competent and the only doctor I truly trust. I took my mom to 4 different cardiologists before finding Dr Baykal. He was the only one that could diagnose her problem that saved her life. So if you want a cardiologist who can empathize and understands your needs Dr Baykal is the one to call.

Great physician offering specialized care! One of few PAH experts and he actually takes the time to explain things and answer questions. Overall office staff very polite, very responsive, and very timely with getting needs and questions addressed. They also work with patients to ensure that they have everything they need to stay healthy and out of the hospital. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a great cardiologist....Dr. Baykal and his staff will fit the need hands down.
