Dr. Denise Ammon, MD

I went to St. Joseph's Emergency Room prior to the visit I had with Dr. Ammon and I received care that was far worse then expected. So, when I had to return 2 days later, I'm glad it was during Dr. Ammon's shift. She went beyond to run more tests and make my visit what it should have been the first time. I appreciated the fact that she wasnt intimidated that I brought my sister, who is a family practice physician, to help oversee my care. Dr. Ammon explained everything and left nothing to be questioned. I only wish she could be my PCP!! Thanks Dr. Ammon

Met her at 4am in extreme pain with a kidney stone. She listened closely and reassured me she would manage my pain after tests. In less than two hours I left the ER with a plan and manageable pain.

Young, arrogant, and indifferent. She treats disease, not you. Never introduced herself, so we got her name off the discharge papers. We apologize -please let us know if it is not a doctor who saw my wife. Enormous pain in my wife's arm, and pressure in her throat are probably nothing, since Dr Ammon gave no significance to those. We waited for over an hour for discharge papers. We are back home, it is 4 AM, and we wonder what is the remainder of the night gonna look like. We are scared.
