Dr. Dennis Bandemer, DO

He’s friendly, but if you’re younger than his normal clientele don’t expect much. I came in with debilitating low back pain, I wasn’t working, I wasn’t going anywhere, I was desperate for help and the most he would do was prescribe me PT and a basic anti inflammatory for arthritis that didn’t work but he wouldn’t prescribe me anything different. He also consistently wrote in my chart that he believed my pain was caused by mental health which he had no reason to believe other than I’m a young female. Couple months later I brought the same MRI and Xray he saw to another PM&R and was told I had significantly ruptured discs in my spine and should consider seeing a surgeon if it’s something I was open to. I’ve now had surgery and feel a million times better, but it’s frustrating that this doctor couldn’t seem to believe there was anything wrong with me because I’m so young. It’s almost like he didn’t even look at my imaging because he was set on “nothings wrong with her.”

If you have chronic pain due to a spinal condition, like scoliosis in your later years, unfortunately you know there is no cure, only progressive pain and spinal deterioration . Dr. Bandemer will prescribe pain medicine on his schedule, reducing the amount every few months until, I believe, you are left to simply endure the pain without any medicine. He has no real concern for his patients, offers no guidance, gives you all of five minute for an office visit and forget getting him on the phone unless it's a scheduled visit he can bill your insurance company for. Find a doctor who actually takes time, asks you questions and listens. Don't go to this one. He simply doesn't care unless it's billable.

Recently I had the opportunity to visit with Dr. Bandemer. He was very kind and spent a lot of time with me answering all my questions. Eventually, I received injections for my severe headaches. I did see him again a couple of weeks later. He wanted to see how I was doing. Everyone in the practice is very nice. They take care of you pretty quick.

First saw Dr Bandemer in Feb, was in great deal of pain and had trouble walking. After the consult I did an MRI and started physical therapy. He had me see Dr Rothman for a steroid injection on 3-8-22. Since then I have been pain free and able to get back to normal. From the 2 docs to the 2 PT fellows that worked with me I can’t say enough good things about them all. I am still cautious about my movements, but just being able to get up and walk pain free is a true blessing. Thanks to you all. The office staff were pleasant and helpful.

I would recommend Dr. Bandemer to my family and friends. He is understanding, explains my medical issues thoroughly, and always, always takes the time to listen and answer every question I may have. I am very grateful for his expertise. I have been able to manage my chronic pain with the physical therapy and medication he prescribed. The staff at Rehabilitation Physicians is kind, courteous and professional. I am fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Bandemer. I’m able to do so much more without being in constant pain. Because of Dr. Bandemer, I have my life back!

I was referred to Dr. Bandemer because i could not walk from my back, he checked me very well and prescribed me some medication and told me exactly how the pain should go away and it did! He is an amazing Dr. that cares and is extremely knowledgable in his field. This is a late review but i had to get it done because it is well deserved! i highley Recommend him.

I suffered from crippling sciatica and hip pain for months. I couldn't walk or stand for more than a few minutes at a time. I had been through physical therapy, chiropractor treatments, massage therapy -- they all provided incremental improvements, but I was still hobbled. Dr. Bandermer fixed me up.

Dr B is why I’m able to function well enough to tend to my 6 children. When no doctor would listen to me HE did! He takes the time to go over all possibilities of what might be going on and how to rehabilitate your body:)

More doctors should be EXACTLY LIKE THIS.. I CAN'T EVEN DESCRIBE his demeanor, professionalism and everything his skills did to assess my situation.

We were lucky to find Dr.Bandemer. His compassion accompanied by his wealth of knowledge was something my wife needed. In extreme pain all summer and after trying many options and medicines with no relief we found Dr. Bandemer. After a through check up and lots of questions he ordered some test done. And gave her some new precriptions which have helped immeaditely. We are far more comfortable and we have hope again. Thank you Dr. Bandemer

Excellent as usual the best doctor I have ever had

Dr Dennis Bandemer was very professional as well as knowledgeable. He was attentive to what my pain level was and took the time to explain everything I asked. I never mind waiting for a Dr who is running behind because he also is taking good care of the other patients ahead of me.

Dr. Bandemer was quick and accurate with his diagnosis. He helped me to get normalcy back in my life with a series of injections which help relieve pain from my neck and down my arm. I am currently doing much better and I am extremely glad I was referred to Dr. Bandemer.

Well what a surprise. I came in with bad pain in both knees and pain in my right foot. Yes..I was very depressed,thought I might be on the decline of life. Glad today to report how good I feel. Dr. Bandemer saw me 2 months ago and I'm very glad I met him. His demeanor shocked me..he actually cared about me. He took the time to listen to me. Dr. Bandemer helped me immensley ( hip pain.) He is very skilled, thorough and professional. He referred me to other associates in the practice for injections who were also excellent.
