The OPPOSITE of a caring and compassionate doctor
Dr. Brenner does not understand how growth and development can significantly affect a child’s physical and emotional well-being. Dr. Brenner is unsympathetic. My child’s pediatrician was concerned with poor growth rate and recommended we see a specialist. Brenner was the first pediatric endocrinologist with whom we could get an appointment. I noticed that Brenner received poor reviews online but we were willing to try him out. For one year we used Brenner and can confirm that he is a poor communicator and a terrible diagnostician. At my child’s last appointment with Brenner, my child had a growth rate of basically zero and Brenner still had no treatment plan! After one year of diagnostic tests, bloodwork, x-rays, and an MRI, Brenner concluded that my child simply had delayed puberty, which is an incorrect diagnosis according to our new pediatric endocrinologist. Unlike Brenner, our new endocrinologist is sensitive and empathetic to our issues and is able to administer treatment.

Dr. Brenner is unsympathetic, inattentive to patient needs, does not listen to the patient, and does not treat the patient’s parents with respect. My child’s pediatrician was concerned with his poor growth rate and recommended we see a specialist. Brenner was the first pediatric endocrinologist with whom we could get an appointment. I noticed that Brenner received poor reviews online but we were willing to try him out to see for ourselves. For one year we used Brenner as our child’s pediatric endocrinologist and can confirm that he is a poor communicator and a terrible diagnostician. At my child’s last appointment with Brenner, my child had a growth rate of basically zero and Brenner still had no idea why this was happening. Additionally, he had no treatment plan for my child. After one year of diagnostic tests, bloodwork, x-rays, and an MRI, Brenner concluded that my child simply had delayed puberty. This is completely irrational. Delayed puberty cannot explain zero growth over a one-year period. We are changing practices to a pediatric endocrinologist that understands how growth development can significantly affect a child’s physical and emotional well-being. Our new pediatric endocrinologist is sensitive and empathetic to our issues and is able to administer treatment therapies. Brenner is the opposite of a caring and compassionate doctor.

Worst pediatric Dr I have ever come across! Nasty and rude! Told me to tell him my daughters medical history in 2 sentences (he clearly could care less about her). He interrupted me the whole time. Brushed me off and said she was normal according to bloodwork, yet ultrasound showed otherwise and he had NO answer as to why she was developing nodules. I drove an hour and half for a 15 min appt that only raised my blood pressure! He’s just biding his time to retire. Folks, don’t waste your time with him find yourself another doctor! Your child deserves better care then what this man can give.

This review is for staff . I really like Dr Brenner but staff is just another story. they don't believe in responding to emails or phone calls even in emergency. response time can reach more than few days after many attempts to contact . useless. horrible. not acceptable for a pediatric office.

I really like Dr. Brenner but getting test results are nearly impossible. His staff simply does not return phone calls. I won't take my daughter back to him for this reason.
