Dr. Derek Brugman, DO

We too love Dr Brugman BUT THIS is the WORST run medical office I have ever experienced in my life!!! It is impossible to get a call back from the staff and days go by, even when you have explained the urgency of a particular matter. Their message on voicemail says “if multiple messages are left by you, your return call will be delayed” yet they won’t call you back when you leave only one message!!!

While we absolutely love Dr Brugman, his nurse? (K. Long) and staff are the absolute worst! You can never get ahold of anyone and when you do get his “nurse “ via messaging service, she is beyond rude and refuses to give the Dr messages . We have repeatedly asked to speak to the Dr directly and she informed us today that we should find another practice and not utilize theirs . I am appalled at the lack of customer service and compassion for those children who have special needs and processing disorders. As a registered nurse myself, I have never witnessed such disregard for patients ! Truly disgusting behavior

We can never reach any of the staff when we call. We always have to leave a message. Their follow-up should be within 24 hours, but rarely is.

Dr. Bridgman is great but the office staff is horrible. I was dropped from this practice over a $35 missed appointment fee.

This practice has the absolute worst customer experience. To fill important prescriptions my wife and I have to leave messages, as we can never speak to a live person. The messages go days without a response. If we are unavailable for the call we get stuck in a never-ending do loop because again, we cannot speak directly with a person. I have no idea how this practice continues to operate but I suspect it won't be doing so for long. I wish I could give a lower rating.

My husband and I have struggled with finding the help our 6 year old son needs with his ADHD, we have visited many practices and never were explained the condition in the way Dr. Brugman did, he did not rush and spent with us well over an hour. Finding Dr. Brugman was the best step we've made to be able to truly help our son!

Dr. Brugman is great but his office- staff are less than competent. Making an appointment is a nightmare, most often you get sent to voicemail and your call is not returned.

Dr. Brugman is fantastic. He is so knowledgeable when it comes to ADHD. He encourages my child to try different things that could help him. He talks directly to my child and involves him in the process of managing his ADHD. I highly recommend him to anyone with a child who has ADHD.

Very knowledgeable about ADHD and related disorders. Very thorough explanation of primary and secondary symptoms.Best we have had thus far from any other doctor or medical practice. Would definitely recommend.
