Dr. Derek Prabharasuth, MD

Today is 5/23/22. This post is directed at Dr. Prabharasuth's office staff. The Dr. prescribed my Father his monthly supply of cancer medication, Orgovyx, filled by Biologics pharmacy. Monthly, Biologics calls me so I can pay the $800+ co-pay for the shipment, but they did not call so I did. I was told they have been continuously reaching out to Dr.'s office requesting the prescription renewal & also a form for the Dr. to fill out to see if we can receive the meds free thru the manufacture and have been waiting for the form since April 2022. I have attempted to call the Dr. office every hour during their posted office hours today, (no answer received) & have left messages with no returned response. I called 15 minutes prior to closing and was transferred to a call centre who told me that they would forward my message!!! My Fathe is is the 1 suffering from the lack of follow-up; this appalling and frustrating. Nothing I have written is defamatory, threatening, libelous or inflammatory.

Everyone in this office is so incredibly nice and patient. From the phone to in-person, they are super-nice and accommodating. I really can't say enough good things about them. They were especially nice to my 83-year old dad and treated him with kindness and respect. The doctor is also very nice, asked all the right questions and was very clear in his communication. Great experience! The only downside was the waiting room. I think the wait-time was a little long, but average for most doctors. I know they are restricted by Covid, but it seems like they could fit a few more chairs. Luckily someone got up so my dad could sit. If you are young and healthy, be prepared to stand or wait in the hall.

worst medical office ever! My husband went to his office as referred by his PCP, and the first bad experience was that the “medical assistant”who was the one that took his blood pressure when we visited the office, she took the blood pressure over a huge sweater and of course the reading was off to the sky, Ive been a registered nurse and home health owner for over 13 years, when we call her attention on the wrong way of taking the Blood pressure and how this can cause inaccurate reading she said that, no, that that has no impact on it and that the way she did it was ok. We didn’t want to make a big deal at that moment but we realized that that was why the reading was so off. Then the doctor came in, he was “ok” and he sent an order for Some meds, we were asked where we would like the medications to be sent, all in all the prescription was never sent to the pharmacy it was supposed to be sent( CVS) . We have called several times for 3 days to inquire about the order since he really n

Dr. Derek Prabharasuth is amazing!!!! He is very attentive and professional. He is very nice and makes you feel at ease instantly. He really cares about his patients. I've gone to see him twice, and both times I felt that I received the absolute best care. He answered all my questions and was able to come up with the best treatment plan with an issue I've been dealing with for months. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. Not only is the Dr. great but the office staff is equally as nice and caring. They really make you feel like part of a team that cares about your utmost health.

October 9, 2019: My visit began and ended wihtout difficulties. Dr. Praharasuth's office spaces were clean, neat, and pleasant. I was disappointed to find that Bushra, and Toni were no longer on site; however, the staff provided me superb care. Ending the visit: Dr. Prabharasuth, without rushing, discussed the findings of the Ultrasound, and my current status of health. All well, he agreed to place me on annual follow-ups. Always, I feel comfortable, and confident when visiting the Advanced Urology Institute of Georgia. The professionals are competent, caring, and friendly. In some ways, I feel as though I never left home. Thank you! I highly recommend Dr. Derek D. Prabharasuth to anyone needing urological care.

I was referred to Dr. Prabharasuth by a friend. I was very nervous and anxious in the beginning, but Dr. Prabharasuth and his staff were very thorough at explaining to me what tests and procedures they were going to perform to address my concerns. Their expertise and professionalism definitely put me at ease. He's definitely a one of kind doctor. His enthusiasm and charisma are hard to find in doctors these days. He also has a good sense of humor. I definitely trust Dr. Prabharasuth for any and all of my urological needs.

My visit to E.R. was quite bit scary for me but once Dr.Prabharasuth had spoken to me, I felt very comfortable going for a procedure. For my recent follow-up went very well. Dr.Prabharasuth had a great attitude about the follow up and made me feel very well after the response he had gave me for my recovery. I would recommend him to others!!!!
