Excellent ENT
Starting with the lovely staff, zero wait time, kind and friendly service to how incredible Dr. Wallace is; this is hands down a very serious, special and amazing Dr. who I will only want to see in the future for ANY issue regarding ENT. He saw me for an ear emergency today and could not have been more kind, patient, gentle and supportive. An excellent Dr in every way!!

Very pleased with Dr Wallace
I have nothing but good comments about Dr Wallace. Saw him twice the past 2 years. Both times very professional, relaxed and patient - listened attentively to my issues and questions. While my ENT issues are not complex, I feel confident in his medical competency. The staff also helpful, though it is a new practice in Montclair so maybe staff just getting up to speed. No one was rude nor condescending, nor did I feel rushed. That said I just referred him to a friend and thought -gee maybe I should check his reviews. Was very surprised at the polar opposites - some love him others not. I make no judgement - I can only share my experience. PS I am seeing him next week so if my experience changes I’ll update my review

ENT
Dr Wallace was very thorough in his examination and explained things that were easy to understand. My appointment was not rushed in any way. He also explained options I had for treatment and could not have been more helpful. I would highly recommend Dr Wallace.

Misdiagnosed my fractured nose
Briefly looked at my nose... said it looked ok to him and it would heal without surgery... 6 weeks later I was given a second opinion... should have had surgery within 2 weeks of injury... ended up having a Septorhinoplasty...do not go to him

no respect for other's time
I made an appointment with Dr. Wallace for a specific condition that his staff said he had experience with. When I got to his office a nurse told me that he could not see me for the exact condition I explained to his staff when making the appointment. The doctor did not even have the courtesy to see me himself. I wasted two hours of my day. My time is also important.

Not LGBTQ friendly I went to the Nutely Office with my partner as support to discuss my CT scan results and a potential surgery I have to undergo. When we walked in the receptionist told me my friend couldn’t be here. I told the receptionist that my partner and came in to help discuss my surgery. She still said she was not allowed inside and I told the receptionist she is my girlfriend and I pointed to the heterosexual customer who just walked to the back room to see Dr. Wallace. She said she didn’t see them walking in, even though they were right in front of her. When I saw Dr. Wallace, I asked him if he was uncomfortable with my partner being there and if he had a problem with homosexuals. In no way did he attempt to apologize for the situation and had a smug demeanor and told me not to make any assumptions. At that point, I knew I wouldn’t be comfortable seeing the doctor and walked out of the office. Surgery is a big deal; I was already nervous talking about and needed support

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see him. I arrived 10 minutes late and was informed he could not see me. I considered rescheduling but found out he only sees patients for 10 minutes at a time. I have major sinus issues and need more of an attentive doctor.

The wait time is short. I had a complaint about the office staff who was not attentive. The doctor told me they were new and had recently changed and is learning the process. Unfortunately, I think many places do not know what Customer Service is any longer. Young people really need to learn this. Overall, Dr. Wallace is extremely kind and professional. He may be shy& very quiet too. However, he is knowledgeable and does not give you excess medications if it is not needed. I like this !!!

Doesn't really explain things. I'm not sure if I'm taken care off or if he wants to continue to see me to just add more billings. Doesn't give a comprehensive review. Ever since he joined the Summit Medical group, the staff has been very rude and impatient. Only good thing is that it is easy to make appointments and the short wait time. Be prepared for the short doctor-patient time and hefty nasal endoscopy charges.

Rude, does not look at you when you talk, doesn't answer you. Went to him for my ears, next day had a question, he calls back and first thing he says I told you there is nothing wrong with your ears. Doesn't even let me say anything. I said wait one minute, you can give me 2 min like you gave me. I told him what I thought of him, he says go find another doctor. I said you know it. I told him what to do then. Has no bedside manner, thinks he is god. Just walks out of room no goodbye.

My experience with this Dr. Was VERY unsatisfactory ! He was rude, no bedside manner. He was very mad when I told him my throat hurt after he examined me. He told me my throat was fine. I explained my throat was sore and he was visibly upset.. telling me that he would do a scope just to shut me up! He was very short and did not explain anything about what I was going to experience with the scope.. Well he found a cyst on my tonsil. So he is not thorough either.. Don't go to this Dr.
