my father had a stroke in December which he recovered well from, Dr Nair decided he needed a pacemaker within a couple days he was filled with fluid and back in hospital as the contrast was to much for his ckd she then decided he needed a ablation which also used contrast (I was against) she assured him he needed it so he agreed, I ask if he was strong since just leaving hospital, I was assured he was. We were scheduled for 11 am, my father set in a wheel chair unable to breath for 3 hours before being called back as he had also had to start oxygen after first procedure, after going back 4 hours before the 10 minute procedure started, it was like a assembly line of patients all having same three procedures ( pacemaker, ablation, or watchman) we left at 9 pm ( ridiculous) but I assume a lot of money was made. 2 days later his kidneys shut down and he developed acid in his blood stream, yes he died. He should of never been put through either procedure she did in his condition at 84 years old.. I believe the money is important ten the patient and thats just sad for family's like mine. PLEASE get a second opinion if she suggest any of the procedures I've listed. If I had the option of zero instead of 1 I would have selected.

10 out of 10!
I met Dr. Nair while in the hospital for Afib with RVR on a Monday. She spoke of having a cryoablation. I asked her how soon I could have that done as my wife was about 3 weeks away from a scheduled c-section. She said to come by and speak with her nursing the next morning. I did that, told her that same story, and she replied with that Friday. And that Friday I had a cryoablation. My wife said she was very nice when she spoke with her when surgery was concluding. I could not more highly recommend a cardiologist.

Life Saver
Dr Devi Nair has been my Electrophysiologist for 5 years and literally saved my life on December 1st by realizing I was trying to go into a ventricular storm. She called St. Bernard’s hospital and had me admitted through the front desk (no ER) which could have had deadly consequences. They immediately got me checked in and put me on lidocaine IV. She then reached out land sent me to a specialist EP DR. Tandri with Vanderbilt Health who ablated my ventricles. We are so lucky to have the best here in Jonesboro .

Initially went in for AFib discovered by Apple Watch. Never recommended an ablation and explained why in great detail. I wore 2 halter monitors and eventually got a loop monitor. Explains in detail why we are doing something and never pushes and listens to your concerns. I am scheduled for an AFib ablation after a year of watching my heart. She has an excellent bed side manner and a wonderful proceduralist. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else for myself or a loved one. You want the best for your heart and she is it!

My dad's doctors had kept him on blood thinners for afib for years. He has been on 3 different types of blood thinners but they all troubled him. He was very depressed for years. Dr. Nair recommended an ablation and a watchman device instead of blood thinners. 2 years ago He had the ablation and then the watchman. The last 2 years have been the best in his life. he says "Good riddance afib meds and blood thinners". This doctor keeps up with new technologies and is very personable. She told us, she will help him getter a better quality of life and she kept her end of the promise. Thank you for taking the time to listen to his story and help him and us. It's good to have our dad back. Thankful this holiday season for her.

After having my appointment rescheduled 2 times because was “out of town”, I had to wait over an hour just to be called back to wait longer. When she finally came in to see me, she tried to sell me another surgery without medical explanation to back up what she said. After I told her I would wait on the ablation she was selling, she couldn’t get out of the exam room fast enough. I had an echo one month ago, but she didn’t even mention my results. She said I had one episode in the last 7 months, but didn’t give me any details of when this happened. Also, the monitor that they allegedly use to record this data, has been broken twice for a week at a time, but no one ever contacted me. The monitor is from Boston Scientific. Summary, it’s hard to follow what Dr. Nair recommends, when she leads me to believe she’s only interested in MONEY!!

Did a heart procedure for my grandmother. She very well explained the procedure and the reasoning behind it. She did a great job, and my grandmother feels much better. She was able to do what was planned and did it when another cardio doctor couldn’t fix the same issue FOUR years ago. Thank you, Dr. Nair!!
