Dr. Devin Ganesh, MD

I found Dr. Ganesh to be friendly and interested in what I had to say. He offered choices and explained details for my condition and eventually I had a repair surgery which went quite well. I felt that he was really with me in me wanting to be as healthy and active as I can as I deal with aging.

As a surgeon my hands are my livelihood. After suffering an injury to my right wrist (TFCC tear) I was worried not only about how I was going to do daily activity but also was genuinely fearful that I would be out of work permanently. I saw Dr Devin Ganesh as a patient and he was calm and collected even in the face of what I saw as a crisis and he was confident in his treatment decision and that confidence helped to reassure me. We went with a non-surgical approach (which I know makes him less money). Ultimately I cannot say enough good things about Dr Ganesh. His judgement and treatment plan were spot on for a difficult problem without strong evidence for treatment. I would recommend anyone to go to see him for hand and shoulder issues. I would (and have) sent my family to him and they were very well taken care of. If you need a Hand or Shoulder surgeon take my advice and go to the “surgeon’s surgeon” no matter where in Hawaii you are coming from.

We saw Dr Ganesh after my daughter had been shot. Not only was he gentle, kind and compassionate, but his bed side manner is excellent and his level of communication exactly what we needed. He found additional damage on the original CT scan the hospital had missed that had caused some disfiguration and limitations. He took the time to answer all of our questions and did not make us feel rushed. Dr Ganesh seemed to genuinely care about my daughter and her recovery. Terrific doctor to have!!!
