Back surgery a success Dr. Kearns Anesthesiologist
On 10-9-2023 I expressed my concern to Dr. Kearns for careful use of anesthesia during my back surgery. Six weeks prior on 8-24-23 I had lower abdomen hernia surgery at Coral Desert Surgical Center. I suffered x3-4 weeks of bad anesthesia side effects! 15 hours after surgery I couldn't urinate. At 4:30am next day I was at IHC /ER having a catheter inserted for one wk. My Urologist PA discovered after checking for a UTI that I now developed a bacterial infection which they treated for 10 days & my urine + blood analysis came back Neg.I was finally OK & cleared for 2 weeks having my back surgery. Dr. Kearns quickly read & discussed with me my x2 contrasting anesthesia medical reports for 2 different hernia surgeries (same MD surgeon Dr. Watson x18 mos. apart). My Feb. 2022 umbilical hernia surgery had No side effects. My recent hernia experience side effects I hope to avoid. He discussed several adjustments he could make which all worked out successfully! Big Thanks Dr. Kearns !!!
