1 star is too much
I was in the hospital for chronic pancreatitis. On my 1st visit he sent me home without warning, while still in alot of pain. I was back in the hospital the next day, and once again had him as my 'doctor '. He flat out said I'm faking it. Then came beside ne in bed. Started to poke rather hard my abdominal area. I said 'that hurts', he kept poking. I then said 'that's enough!'. Poked me another 3 times. He then walked to the end of the bed and said, ' I can poke you all I want, you can wince all you want, you are not in pain'. He purposely caused me more pain then walked out with a smile. I've had this condition for awhile now, numerous trips to the hospital and numerous test confirming the severity of my condition. On top of this, he is rude, over talks you, doesn't care what you have to say, heartless and even treats the nurses or staff as if he's above them.

The Schalls from Michigan
Dr. Ekanayake listens and conducts himself as a team player in devising medical care plans for me and my husband. We find him extremely knowledgeable, and it’s evident that he keeps up-to-date with new medical data. I highly recommend this doctor. I can only suspect that any ratings lower than 5-stars must have been given due to misunderstandings, which has nothing to do with ability to be a great doctor.

Was not a good experience. He released me from the hospital with one test left to take and me being nauseous and weak to have to go to an outpatient facility to get this test when I could’ve had it within 15 minutes there, but wanted me out within the hour and I was out of the hospital within the hour !

He came to the hospital when I was a patient, never met him before and was a complete jerk! Screamed at me,, why are you here? I'm on oxygen, came in at 5 AM. Er dr recommends that I be an in patient. He said there's nothing wrong with your lungs. I said did you look at my ct scan. Never saw him again.
