Dr. Clavin delivered my baby in March, 2004. I had just moved to Slidell from FL & didn't know anyone. I got her practices' name from the phone book! And I am so glad I did. She was extremely professional, listened to my concerns, answered all my questions clearly. I had originally seen another associate, who asked Dr. Clavin to see me for an ultrasound due to my age. There were some other issues & I could tell she knew her stuff & switched to her as my primary ob. I don't judge a Dr by their bedside manner, but the 1st one was too preachy. Not Dr. Clavin. She went along with what I wanted, even if she may not have personally agreed (c-sect, formula feeding). I'm forever grateful that she delivered my healthy, happy son, 15 years ago!

Worst doctor I have ever seen. I went to slidell memorial hospital because i was home alone and didn’t have anyone to drive me to St Tammany Hospital where my doctor is. Mrs Clavin states to me” Next time dont come here go to St Tammany!” How can a medical professional thats in the ER state that to anyone regardless of the situation?

Good doctor. Her main concern was the health of me and my baby. The hospital was awesome. Out of five deliveries, this was the easiest. My wishes were carried out up to what she would allow (laboring with wireless fetal monitoring, no Pitocin, etc...).

Worst Dr ever!! Very rude, doesn't discuss anything with patient. Acts like the pregnancy doesn't mean anything.

I absolutely recommend Dr. Clavin... she is all about baby and you... making sure you both are okay... if she sees a problem she your I her office or in the phone so she can give you specific instructions... she cares a lot about listening to you and your birth plan and tries her hardest to make sure it can happen... she awesome... save 2 of my pregnancies so im very thankful...

I would recommend her because I feel as though she is very knowledgeable, efficient, and passionate. I think sometimes her personality is a little too serious but that doesn't discount her capabilities.
