Dr. Diana Lau, MD

Dr. Lau is nothing short of amazing. I was fortunate to have her see me for a broken clavicle. We had surgery scheduled and she ordered a CT scan just to make sure we knew what we we’re working with. Upon my first visit, she was able to discern that I had fractured ribs that the urgent doctor misdiagnosed as bruised ribs. The CT scan revealed a total of 14 rib fractures, pneumothorax, plural effusion, a collapsed left, and possible flail chest. She exuded genuine concern and called me after hours after she was able to review my CT scan with her colleagues. She told me to go to the emergency room immediately. The trauma surgeons validated her concerns and were surprised urgent care did not refer me to the emergency room when my accident first occurred. With the other injuries, surgery became a more complicated option. We opted against the surgery. 3 months later and periodic visits, I made a complete recovery. Dr. Lau’s thorough care is the reason. I am beyond grateful.

She’s like a miracle worker, transforming my broken arm back to functioning one. I was scared of being stuck with a disabled arm but she put me at ease with her detailed explanation and course of action to put my arm back to normal so I could swim and lift weights. Dr. Lau is amazing. She is very kind and caring. She took the time to explain my son's x-rays and recommended a plan. She has a great personality and she put us both at ease. The lady at the front desk, nurse, doctor, and the gal who wrapped my son's cast were all very kind and professional.

I had the best experience during my visit with Dr Lau... She reviewed my MRI and XRAY images with excellent explanations, helpful visual models, and a micro detailed diagnosis of my symptoms/pain......She was extremely insightful of my symptoms/pain and almost made me believe she was experiencing my pain with me. On top of all that....she has a delightful personality, a fun sense of humor, and a natural tenderness with her patience. My search for the best orthopedist is over...as long as my insurance allows... I highly recommend Dr Lau to anyone looking for an orthopedist who is highly accurate, knowledgeable, and effective... I had an x-ray done to my hip because I had a lot of pain in my groin area. The x-ray was ordered by my rheumatologist. Dr Lau explained the pain was caused by arthritis in my hip. She explained throughly what needed to be done. I have been going to Dr Lau for two years and she has always explained things to me c where I can understand in laymen terms. Tries very hard to ease any pain that I have.

Dr. Lau did an excellent job repairing my right shoulder. It has been approximately 3 months since my surgery and I have experienced outstanding results. My previous pain has all but left me and I recommend her to anyone contemplating shoulder surgery. I have even referred my wife to Dr. Lau for her shoulder surgery.

Dr. Lau has been caring for me for more than three years. She is a surgeon who explains diagnoses well, clearly and provides treatment options that are easy to understand. Dr. Lay's surgery skills are excellent and, for me, have had good results. I cannot recommend her more highly.

I scheduled an appointment to see Dr. Lau based on her reviews and experience. The front office was not friendly at all, extremely rude. I waited there for 2- hours to see Dr. Lau, considering I scheduled the appointment a month in advance. I took in my MRI images to get a second opinion, and Dr. Lau rushed right through them told me they looked normal. Dr. Lau then continued her examination and gave me a diagnosis. Dr. Lau repeated herself that the images were normal. I then proceeded to show her the findings from the radiologist, which showed otherwise.. Dr. Lau gave me this blank stare and looked at the images again. According to her an “orthopedic” the “radiologist “ was wrong. The radiologist is the specialist in images not her. Yet she wants to overturn his findings. It’s impossible to have confidence in a Doctor when she doesn’t even take the time to review your images. Worst of all she can’t admit she was wrong. Don’t bother coming here.
