Dr. Diana Tapay, MD

This was our second visit with Dr. Tapay as we usually only schedule visits to get school physicals for my 11yr old daughter and 15yr old son. My son checked on his physical form that he was sexually active. Dr. Tapay was very kind but while she examined my son privately she had him repeat 'No means no and stop means stop'. While I appreciate her intentions, It was not appropriate for her to say that to my son. My son felt confused, sad, and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we will be switching doctors. A more appropriate conversation should have been about protection against STDs and pregnancy.

The doctor was very thorough and answered every question we had. Our son was sick, and we were the typical overly concerned first time parents. Dr. Tapay did a great job talking us through his symptoms and making sure we knew what we could do to help him. We love seeing her.

She was kind, efficient, thorough, and explained things well to me and in an appropriate way to my young kids. She gave clear recommendations to treatments, but also heard my concerns and respected my decisions. I had all 4 of my young children there and she was patient and accommodating.
