Dr. Diana Twiggs, MD

Every visit feels like I’m just being blown off. I’m certainly not heard. I feel as if she can’t wait to be done with me. She points you to specialists immediately because she seems to have no interest in helping me directly. Not surprised - classic Florida healthcare.

Patient. Kind. Professional Helpful. All the good things for sure.

During my annual, Dr. Twiggs asked what issues I was having and then proceeded to only concentrate on the one issue. She listened to my lungs and gave me a pap smear and the appointment was over. No blood work, no going over previous issues or meds, or anything else. Just terrible.

Dr. Twiggs is a very caring and practical physician. She takes the time to listen to you - never rushed. My husband and I have been going to her for years.

Dr Twiggs is great at making referrals. My advise is skip seeing her and go directly to a specialist. She isn’t very talkative, doesn’t ever ask follow up questions on subsequent visits after seeing her referrals. There is literally no reason to make an appointment. Keep looking.

Waste of time. Now I know why the rating is 2.7 from 5 starts. Visited for shoulder and got a referral for MRI but never a call from the place so two week later. I call back the doctor back to get MRI office name and call them which I did. Seems my paperwork was sent back to doctor Twiggs office and sat by them. Now they say my insurance denied it. I called my insurance and they said we haven't received authorization from Brett Blabla. So I called the doctor's office again and the woman can't tell me who Brett BlaBla is she is just there to answer phone. Is he a doctor in that office? I asked .She doesn't know. Who is he ? I asked. She doesn't know she is only to answer phone. Run from this doctor's office don't waste your 330 dollars. Btw she hung up when she couldn't answer simple question. Had to leave one star to be able to post. Normal zero.

Dr. Twiggs sent me a letter stating that she was dropping me as a patient; she accused me of "disruptive behavior" during a recent visit with another practioner at the practice, Kim Bibb. I wanted to take issue with the charge of "disruptive behavior" on my part. I confronted N.P. Bibb on the fact that I was unhappy having to wait 35 minutes past my appointment for her to see me. I also told her I was unhappy that I have to pay you 110.00-150.00 just to get a refill on a prescription. If that is what N.P. Bibb calls "disruptive" behavior, then she's over-sensitive at the least and paranoid at worst. I would characterize disruptive behavior as shouting, yelling or screaming OR moving objects or furniture in an angry way. Expressing dissatisfaction with how a business is run does not fall into that category, at least in the real world. No matter, at the end of my visit with N.P. Bibb I informed her I would be seeking another primary care doctor outside of Dr. Twigg's practice

DR TWIGGS IS A VERY GOOD DR I HAVE BEEN SEEING HER FOR YEARS

My experiences with Dr. Twiggs have been absolutely excellent. These negative reviews are years old and I don't think it is fair to smear a good doctor based on her staff, most of whom are now gone. I have good insurance -- Humana -- and have never encountered a billing problem. I am impressed at how well the doc listens to me and takes the time to explain her findings. Recently had a colonoscopy at her recommendation and they found three polyps, so I am glad I acted on her recommendation.

Dr Twiggs has always been a thorough Doctor with me. My previous doctor could not take the time to figure out why I had high calcium in my blood for ten years. Doctor Twiggs nailed it in one visit. Tested my thyroid, had a bad parathyroid. Got it removed, blood went back to normal, stopped making kidney stones. I’m happy with her!

I will start off by saying that the PA that saw me (Kim Bibb) is absolutely awesome. She is funny, knowledgeable, and made my visit rather enjoyable considering the circumstances. OK, now that THAT is out of the way...this office is abysmal at calling patients back. I called 7x's to get my pulmonary results and was told someone would "call me back" each time. Never happened. I would get put on hold....no one would pick the call back up. Abolutley TERRIBLE customer service. Worst I have ever had

She's rude and uppity. She doesn't listen well and acts as though she is doing the patient a favor just by walking into the room.

I have been a patient of this office for over 25 yrs today was the last time I will ever call that office. I have been waiting desperately for my medication for 1 week and none of the Drs in the office would call it in until I came in for an appointment. No appointment will ever be made there again.
