The dr was ok on the first and only time I was able to see her. Was only able to see Portia and when I would ask questions about the surgery Portia never seemed to know how to answer them

Saved my life!!
I have suffered in pain for several years and was sent to Dr Wilson for evaluation. I had a very extensive surgery not long after first seeing her. She was kind, compassionate, and without a doubt I believe she saved my life and is the VERY BEST at what she does! As far as any negative reviews on here, there is no way she could ever be less than 5 stars! I've been a nurse for 25 years and have worked around many medical providers in various areas. She is by far the best and has saved my life, my mobility, and helped me from no longer suffering.

Trusted
Dr. Wilson is the best, most experienced neurosurgeon in Fort Worth in our opinion. We first met her when she was head of neurosurgery at Harris. She has saved my husband’s ability to be mobile. Long visit waits were normal as she was often called away for emergencies but we were always accommodated with quick reschedules. She spent as much time as needed to discuss and explain scans, MRI, and X-ray results. Don’t let some of the negative reviews keep you from her excellent care and experience.

No more pain
I used Dr Wilson over 10 years ago and what I remember most was no more pain! It was obvious that she did a wonderful job immediately. Unfortunately 10 years later I was suffering from a cervical issue. Walking was difficult and constantly in pain. Dr Wilson came through again for me. The minute I woke up I knew she had corrected my issue. While I am having other issues I would not only recommend Dr Wilson I would use her again, hopefully I won’t!

Definitely #1 Neuro Surgeon in FT Worth Texas
Dr. Diana Wilson. My first impression at first visit was one of a very relaxed, quiet, direct and confident Dr. We felt like we could have taken an hour and she wouldn’t have minded. She performed a flawless ACDF 3 level procedure. We were supposed to have four level but she decided during procedure only three was needed. I’m thankful for that. Follow up visits were quick and thorough. Final visit was such a confidence building experience. As she looked over my recent imaging she stated “ Oh yes, very good” and she took the time to point out all of the details she liked and answered my questioned. She released me to therapy after which I could resume any and all my previous activities without worries. Highly recommend her. Office personnel always seemed to be a bit anxious and lacking in a little inter personal social skill with patients, however they were kind and professional. Definitely highly recommend Dr. Wilson.

After falling in an office she was the spine/back doctor at the hospital. She took the best care of me. I was home for a short while and passed out in my garage. Back to the hospital with several more surgeries. I can say that she is the only one you want to work on anything related to your spine. I'm here because of her.

Dr. Wilson is the Best. She did my neck and lower back. Now I have a new problem and I only trust her. I even sent my mom there and she took great care of her as well. I know there were some issues that Dr Wilson didn’t have a PA for a while so that was rough on her since Dr Wilson is in high demand. Dr Wilson is Amazing but she can’t be in 2 places at once. Have some compassion. Dr Wilson has always been straight with me, she’s personable and jokes with you and explains everything in detail. I would recommend her to anyone anytime!

I never actually saw Dr Wilson. On 6/21 I called and made an appointment for 7/5 at 11:00. On 7/3 they called and changed my appointment to 7/14 at 2:00. On 7/13 they called and changed it to 7/22 at 1:30. On 7/19 they changed it to the same day, 7/22 at 11:00. At 10:15 on 7/22 they called and pushed it to 12:00 noon. We were already on our way. After taking all my info, 14 (no exaggeration) of paper work, trips to pick up all my previous tests etc., at 1:00 they informed me that was not even in the office. She was at least 30 minutes away and offered to have Starbucks delivered. I took my records and left. I cannot imagine having confidence in someone who has absolutely no regard for me as a human being with a life. Seems truly incompetent.

Went to see Dr Wilson in November 2019, and had surgery for herniated disc the next day. I am completely satisfied with the surgery, but I still have some issues that are not resolved. After 3 appointments with her PA and talking to her medical assistant, nothing has been done. I’m pretty confident that either her medical assistant doesn’t give her the information when I call, or that she doesn’t care enough to call me back. In fact, no one ever calls me back!

I cannot thank Dr. Wilson and her entire team enough for the fast action they took! She has given me back a "normal" life. I had 2 herniated discs verified just before Christmas. She set up her team and operated on me the VERY next day! Things could well have been different if this procedure had been delayed. Through her awesome surgical skills and PROMPT attention I feel I am making a full recovery. The entire staff deserves 5 stars too. I'm a FAN!

Dr. Wilson was my surgeon for a recent surgery I needed. She explained everything to be beforehand: my condition, all my options, and any possible complications I may experience. She took the time to answer all of my questions. Since my surgery I have found that she has been responsive and informative both before and after, and her office and associated staff were efficient and capable. I would strongly recommend her.

My physician initially recommended Dr. Wilson. I also did my own research on top doctors in the area. All recommended Dr. Wilson. Upon meeting her, I was impressed with her knowledge, background, experience, and kindness when she met with my wife and myself. I am pleased with the outcome of my surgery and fully recommend her.

I initially heard about Dr. Wilson from my primary care physician. I also did personal research with top doctor friends, and Dr. Wilson was highly recommended by all. Neurosurgeon leaders also paid her fine personal and professional compliments. Once I met with her, I was very impressed with her knowledge, background, and experience. She carefully and patiently answered all questions. It was an easy choice to select Dr. Wilson for this critical surgery and I'm so glad I did.

Over three appointments with Dr. Wilson, my wife and I were afforded inordinate amounts of time to explain my problems, how to fix the problems, the risks, and the probable outcomes. From my standpoint, my surgery was uncomplicated and I feel confident of a successful outcome. I recommend Dr. Wilson without reservation, and have unquestionable trust and reliance in her.

I have avoided surgery like the plague, but, with major cervical/spine issues, I needed to do something other than alternative practices. With Dr. Wilson's expertise and skills as a neurosurgeon, I feel 90% better.

In 2011 I was referred by my PCF to Dr Diana Wilson for a simple laminectomy. When I woke up after the surgery I was in worse pain than when I went in. I had another MRI that still showed the issue that I went in for, she said that the nurses must have moved me wrong. I went to a different Neurosurgeon and he said that “debri” was left behind. I had to have 2 fusions to try to fix the damage she did. I still live in pain every day, a year ago I had a pain stimulator put in, without any help.

I went to Downtown Harris Hospital on Sunday 5/21/17 in the afternoon. I was taken via Hurris ambulance service. I was in and quickly saw the ER doctor. He ordered a MRI of my entire back and neck. They discovered that I had a messed up neck. He called Dr D. Wilson. Thankfully she was on-call. She was concerned about the problem with my neck. She took me into surgery Monday afternoon. She is one of the best surgeons I have ever come across and used, she cares about her patients.

Dr. Wilson did a 16 hour back surgery on me, August 1, 2011. She placed two rods placed on either side of my spine. I have never taken a pain pill after the surgery and after 5 1/2 years have never felt better. She is a wonderful lady and surgeon. Why did I wait so long to do a review you ask? I don't know. This was my third back surgery and it's great. God Bless you Dr. Wilson.
