Doesn't know anything about chiari malformation
An MRI said I had chari malformation (6mm herniation). I had multiple visual symptoms (double vision, light flashes, light sensitivity, ect), but she said chari malformation doesn't cause visual issues, which is completely false. Even eye doctors I've seen recognize that chari often causes visual symptoms. If you have chari malformation, definitely go to a different neurologist.

Disgusting
I waited over two months to be seen by Dr. Hesslebrock. I've had severe body numbness, weight gain of 70lbs in six months, I've lost almost all of the hair on my head, and loss of vision only to be told "I think you have anxiety issues". She was cold, dismissive, rude, and complained about her job and patients. Fast-forward not even 24 hrs later I was admitted to uc memorial central after failing the same neurological test she did the day before in my exam and said I was "fine". They did a MRI and found a pituitary tumor in my brain. Her lack of bed side manner she possessed with her know it all approach was apolling. No critical thinking with a text book approach. If you can't critically think you are nothing more than a degree holder and you are certainly not a doctor. Its disgusting she works in healthcare. Do yourself a favor find a different clinic. It just might save your life.

Dismissed objective test results
Despite MRIs that show 5.5mm herniation through my foramen magnum, which by any definition is a Chiari Malformation 1, Dr. Hesslebrock dismissed it and said I had conversion disorder. I pointed out the 5.5mm on my upright MRI result, which she had missed. I asked if that meant nothing. She had no answer for me and insisted it was conversion disorder. I cried in front of her, and she told me there was nothing to do but see a psychologist, and "It doesn't seem like you're ready for that." It's one thing to be dismissed with no objective evidence, it's another to point it out to a doctor and be dismissed, anyway. See someone else, for your own sanity.

After the first visit, my expectations were high. She was kind and listened. Yesterday, I went back to review results and Dr. Hesselbrock was cold and insincere. She dismissed a list of over 30 symptoms I had, a list she assured me she would review with me at this appt. She watched me cry with not a single emotion or word said. I was dismissed. My symptoms were dismissed. After over 15 years of dealing with neurological pain, I was ignored yet again, by another doctor. This is why I don't go to doctors. She didn't listen. She didn't care.

I saw Dr Hesselbrock this week and was very nervous ; She walked in the room with a big smile and introduced herself to me and my husband . She has a very calming voice and so sweet. She took the time with me to explain everything and answer my questions. She cares, listens, answers your questions. Her so calming voice made me feel at ease. What a caring doctor Hesselbrock is. Today I saw Dr. Hesselbrock for the first time. She was the sweetest most compassionate doctor. I have been going through some scary medical problems and not sure what I’m facing. Dr. Hesselbrock held my hand, showed and explained to me in detail all of my MRI and MRA reports and let me know she is there to guide me every step of the way. She listened to every question I had and answered each question making sure I understood everything completely. In all the fear I have been going through lately I thank Dr. Hesselbrock for being such a kind understanding person.

My husband has been seeing her for a few years now. We absolutely love her. She has offered him hope of having longer seizure free episodes.

There is absolutely no way I would ever recommend this doctor to anyone! Demeaning manner, poor response time on return phone calls. Currently, 10 day delay on two phone requests. One call from an aide that doctor had been notified of initial request but that was delayed 3 days!! Now on day 10/ still no response. Glad it was not an emergency issue/only a matter of seizure control due to over medication/prescription. Not one single blood test in over 2 years of treatment!!! What a poor excuse....

The lack of professionalism, patient and doctor trust is non-existent. She talks down to her patients, cuts them off, and rolls her eyes with out offering any solid solutions. Customer service is a zero. I left the office with the worst migraines I've had in my 9 years diagnosis with a statement, "I am making a recommendation that you see the ER." I am seeking a second opinion with a doctor I can trust, build rapport, and a relationship with: this is something Dianne is severely lacking.

I have been seeing her for a year and I do not recommend her at all. I get botox for my migraines and while she has done adequate at controlling the pain she had trouble understanding my previous neurologists notes and I have to remind her every time exactly where to put them. One time she even got angry with me because I refused to go on medication. What is worse is she needs more training in how to properly inject botox near the face. Currently my eyelids droop so bad I can barely see.

If you value your health or that of your loved one, do not see this fake doctor. She wanted to refer me to an ENT for fluid in my brain and a lesion on the bone. The ineptitude if this person is detrimental to anyone's health, go to someone at Anchutz in Denver.

I was very worried I would not like her, but the minute she walked in the room I liked her. She is very soft spoken, calming, but knows what she is doing. She checked me over very good, listened to my concerns and we both decided on how to proceed. I never once felt rushed. When the visit was over SHE made sure I had everything I needed for tests and etc. If you want a good doctor, give her a try. I don't think you will regret it.

Showed little to no knowledge she adequately researched my genetic situation, therefore incorrect test was given to determine my diagnosis. Presented the NEGATIVE test results to me as if it was the correct diagnosis for my genetic situation-this test has no bearing on diagnosis for my genetic situation. I researched this and discovered in one day her error...a grave mistake. In meeting with her, she never attempted to defend herself but instead said she had had problems with her lab before.
