Dr Austin, at the same location was my doctor for 17+ years. Unfortunately, he recently retired, so I was in need to get a new PCP. I assumed the other doctors in the group were just as good. Boy was i wrong! All I needed to do was renew a prescription I had been using for two years. She required that I come in for the initial before she would be willing to authorize anything. I arrive only to an impersonal and irritated doctor. Not fault you are having a bad day, right? We proceed with the evaluation and it’s almost like she is judging me for my need of a prescription. Mind you I am a white collar worker, multiple businesses and father to two wonderful children. After the conversation, she requires that I see a psychiatrist once to get authorization. Go back and forth with her referral, which only takes recurring new clients. They don’t seem to care about my health, or Dr. Kim referring me. I guess it’s about money. Finally find my own without Dr. Kim’s help. Psychiatrist authorizes m

Dr. Diane Kim (formerly Rhee) was my primary physician over the past decade. I really am thankful to have had her as my doctor, and I am sad to have to leave UCLA Health due to a change in my insurance.
