Dr. Diane Laurin, MD

- This review is for DIVISION 21. I went to the Fernwood offices located at 10215 Fernwood Road, Suite 101, Bethesda, MD 20817. The facilities are dated and unwelcoming. My room was freezing cold and drab. Set the stage for an unpleasant visit. - Provider was following protocol for well visit and could not even make space to have thoughtful conversation regarding my health concerns. They wanted me in and out. It was obvious by their responses to my questions and lack of interest in having a meaningful dialogue. I had to practically force their time. I understand it is the health industry's faulty. Provider is following protocol. For the patient, this 'bare minimum' approach is unacceptable. I will not be returning.

Dr Laurin is patient, pleasant, and highly professional. She was not rushed and made me feel comfortable. She explained next steps clearly. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Diane Laurin is the reason that we have been blessed with our miracle child in August '22. Since we walked into her office a few years ago unsure whether I will ever become a mother, she identified the issue, performed a procedure and worked with us so that now we are proud parents to a beautiful girl. I think she is one of the most personable compassionate knowledgeable GYNs. I only see her once a year and she somehow remembers details about my life which I find is impressive. It shows me that she’s invested in me as a person not just a number.

Dr. Laurin is THE BEST. I've been going to her for well woman visits for over 4 years, and now I am under her care for my first pregnancy. Her bedside manner is second to none and should be the standard of compassionate care for all physicians. It is such a relief to have a doctor who listens and doesn't just rush you out the door with generic medical guidance. Even though she sees dozens of patients, she is tuned in to you, takes her time, and makes you feel comfortable to discuss any questions and concerns you may have during your appointment. I am not-so-secretly hoping that she is the OBGYN on call when I deliver.

Dr. Lauren is the best OB Gyn I’ve ever known. She’s smart, caring and down to earth. She saved my life by performing a surgery no other doctor thought to perform. She also saved my friend’s life by catching and obliterating her ovarian cancer. If you have a chance to get her as your doctor, take it! None other like her!!!

Dr. Diane Laurin on of the most kind , excellent bedside manners , compassionate, just all around an outstanding doctor I have ever met in my 53 yrs living on this earth and countless Drs. I have seen . I have been seen Dr Laurin on and off due to insurance coverage relapse however, she has never changed from the day I first met her 12 years ago . She is a really a role model for young women and upcoming female physicians . I just love her . She always listen to you , take her time to answer all your questions and rushes you .
