My family arranged for me to receive mental help from this Dr for my Autism and anxiety. The appointment completely lacked common knowledge for Autism. There were three medical students in the room during my private visit who were note taking. It felt very impersonal and intrusive to my privacy. There was also nothing in the office and it looked like an abandoned building which added to a surreal feeling. The Dr talked about my issues in front of me like I wasn't there which caused meltdowns. She was cold and dispatched. She prescribed me an anti psychotic which caused me to become withdrawn, unemotional, constantly sleeping, vitamin lacking, and overtime personal hormone issues. I ended up leaving her treatment when she moved away and have a much better Dr at an Autism treatment center!! Traumatic experience that scared me for life.

Disappointing Experience
I took my daughter to see this doctor after struggling to manage her chronic anxiety. I had high hopes, believing that with her expertise, we would finally find some relief. She prescribed a mix of anti-anxiety and anti-psychotic medications, but as the weeks went on, my daughter’s symptoms only seemed to worsen. Instead of the calm we were hoping for, she became increasingly withdrawn, agitated, and her mood swings were off the charts.I reached out to the doctor multiple times, hoping for some guidance. But each time, I received nothing more than a generic response from her office staff—no real advice, no adjustments, just the same old “keep her on the current meds.” A very disappointing experience, and we would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Didn't End Well
I allowed her to prescribe my son with autism an SSRI and an antipsychotic in hopes of controlling his fits of rage he began having, as the months went on and provided short feedback emails, my son was beginning to decline and behaving erratically. Called her for help many times and she had a nurse call me back with a hotline. To add insult to injury, she never followed up and wanted to keep him on these meds that were ineffective because in her practice they were the gold standard. I suggested other routes, including evaluating him for ADHD, I have asked Dupont many times to evaluate him for ADHD because I was suspicious of it. She would not do it and got on her soap box and lectured to me as to why. I finally weaned my child slowly off these meds, he felt much better. Later I went on to find a psychiatrist who specialized in Autism & ADHD, she did a long and full evaluation. They confirmed ADHD. Science is constantly evolving and changing, find a doctor who is proactive.
