Dr. Velarde preformed a: resection surgery on my husband and did a magnificent job. I highly recommend Dr. Velarde he is very thorough explains things and listens to the patient with sincerity and compassion. If you are looking for a general surgeon that you can trust and have faith in, he is the man for the job! God bless Dr. Velarde and his staff they are all wonderful. Thank you!

Dr.Velarde, makes a difference in the lives of his patients! His kindness, sincere caring and concern, make everything better with his great encouragement. Dr.Velarde,is skilled and does excellent work while performing surgery. He has a very friendly staff that make you feel comfortable when you need to visit the Doctor.

Wonderful doctor! He's caring and detail-oriented. He explains everything thoroughly, so you can make a well-informed decision.
I always tend to have complications with surgery, because of other health problems. Dr. Velarde stayed right on top of everything and made me feel safe.

One of the nicest physicians, clearly describes options and directives. Performed my surgery, great staff, helpful and would highly recommend. Dr. Velarde just doesn't do a surgery for the surgery...he will explain the best route for you to take and give you the best options. I like that.

Dr. Velarde saved my life. I developed a bowel obstruction in January of 2017 and was treated by another physician who refused to do surgery on me because of my insurance. In March I found Dr. Velarde and he did extensive surgery due to the fact that I had gastric bypass surgery so I had to have a surgeon who specialized in that. I'm forever grateful for everything he continues to do to help me with my stomach problems.

Dr Velarde is wonderful! I had Gastric Sleeve surgery with Dr Velarde and he was amazing through the whole process. I highly recommend Dr Velarde to anyone who is in need of a general surgeon or a bariatric surgeon. Dr Velarde truly cares for his patients you can see it in his beautiful blue eyes!??
