Stay Away From This Disaster
Dr. Leos was in charge of reducing the number of acquired infections at the now closed Nix Hospital downtown. My elderly mom was her patient and acquired a UTI. Leos refused to test my mom for several days. In fact she refused to test my mom for the infection at all because it would count as an acquired infection and make her look bad. Even one of her nurses remarked that it was obvious that my mom had a UTI from just noticing how smelly her urine bag was and how turbid the fluid was. My mom was transferred to another facility and as soon as she arrived she tested positive for E. Coli and Proteus. She almost died because of Dr. Leos. The Nix hospital used to market their low acquired infection rate. It’s easy to have a low rate if you don’t actually test patients when they acquire infections. Leos is switching to a higher priced program so she doesn’t have to see as many patients and still make a lot of money. She loves designer clothes, but hates thinking and hard work.

Great Medical Care
Dr. Dina Goytia-Leos provides excellent medial care. She is very thorough, caring, and takes time to listen to my healthcare concerns. I have been a patient of Dr. Goytia-Leos for many years and feel extremely confident with her medical advise and prescribed treatment. My family also trusts her for their primary care. Her staff is very helpful and they make scheduling and testing easy.

The only reason I give this doctor 3 stars is because she seems to be an okay doctor. But my husband and I became patients in June 2020. Due to Covid, we were given telemed visits (understandable). Second visits in Sept/Oct were also telemed. We were asked why we did not have blood work done, we were never instructed to do so. The office did not call in a new prescription, we had to call them and ask them to do so. Third visits were scheduled for Nov 5th, supposed to be with doctor. Went for blood work, orders not given to lab. Had to call office. Received call yesterday stating my appointment was to be with the NP and they need to reschedule. But my husband's appt is still scheduled, with the doctor, on that day, 30 minutes before my appt was to be?? Told the next time I could see the actual doctor isn't till Jan. Three visits in and I have never met my doc face to face. This is absurd.

I have been seeing Dr Leos for over 4 years. My husband see her as well. She is very thorough with her exams and immediately addresses any concerns or problem areas with our health. She is soft spoken and easy to talk to. I love the new offices at the Quarry, though miss the downtown visits. I have several friends who see her as well. She also has a Doctor of Osteopathy in her office as well. Several staff members followed her to the new offices so it made the transition even easier! Questions/concerns are easily answered through the portal and my recent virtual visit via face-time was like visiting with her personally. I will continue to recommend her to friends.

Staff very attentive, advised dr was running late, didn’t just keep me waiting. I was pleased with dr Leos, she listens & recalls concerns from previous visit. The only concern is that dr requested urine analysis and I was given referral and told that the person that performs those tests was out to lunch and I could take it elsewhere or go back when person is available. I was disappointed

The current visit was conducted over the cell phones with cameras. I had a previous phone visit with one of he nurses getting my information for the use by Dr. Goytia-Leos. ( A first for me.) It was very interesting to see the Dr. in this fashion. Everthing was good. I had a blood test the next day. Hope to hear about that.

Dr. Leos is a caring & professional person & Dr. Although she's a Dr. first she has treated me 1st as being important & not just my diagnosis. She actually takes time to listen at each visit & make me feel like change for betterment of my health is possible. Due to a medical incident about 5 years ago - I came to her leaving a Dr. office I had been with for over 15 years because the Dr. treated me like I was bothering him. Her and her staff are very caring & professional
