Endocrinologist Appointment
Dr. Prus was very engaged. She was attentive, knowledgeable, took the time to listen to my concerns and offered alternatives to my current treatment. This is my first visit with her and so far I like her.

Run Away!!!
This visit was so horrible. I wish I could rescind the visit entirely and make sure that Cigna does not pay for that consultation. There’s a short supply of endocrinologists where I live and I was very excited for this appointment even after having to wait two months for it. I never write reviews like this and it takes a lot for me to judge a person and this is officially the first time I’ve ever written a negative review about anyone, but this doctor was ZERO help, horrible bedside manner, completely disheveled and unkempt in appearance. Zero interest in addressing my issues. Even asked why I was there after explaining my long medical history. I had to ask to get lab work done, was told that I would get a call within a week, but I already knew I wouldn’t. My lab work was available the very next day on the patient portal. I interpreted the results on my own. What bothers me more than the experience was the amount of time wasted waiting for this appointment, so very disappointed!!

Please do the public a favor and get out of the medical profession. You are just in it for the money. You should know by now that when a patient has a thyroid nodule and then fibrocystic breasts leading to hasimotos or hypothyroidism, this should give you a clue that it is estrogen dominance and do something about it. You should not automatically be reaching for a prescription pad and starting them on the road to becoming a walking pharmacy. Get a clue. All of these situations are connected. If you did your job correctly, you would know this by now. You are doing more harm than good. Why do we need you? This is why the public has lost all faith in doctors. You are worthless.

Horrible This was my third visit, a follow up for very high thyroid levels. Sat in waiting room for 15 before being told they no longer take my insurance and she couldn't see me. Left me high and dry for meds which can be super dangerous. Not so much as an I'm sorry for not calling you ahead of.time.

Great doctor, worst staff. My recent blood report at other doc's office showed a major shift in hormone levels that require immediate medication change. No use begging to see the doctor. They asked for another blood work and would not give an appointment until after 4 weeks. Will not give one month medication so I do not pay for three months which doctor will change anyway. The staff would not listen to you though voice prompt starts with "where patients are our priority". What a joke!

My first visit with Dr. Prus was a positive one. I finally got an answer to issues that had been plaguing me for several years. My hypothyroid was due to Hashimoto's. The answer was she put me on Synthroid. She never mentioned anything about changing diet or the many other things recommended for treating the actual autoimmune condition. I have since started working with an integrative MD who did much more thorough bloodwork. Office staff is terrible.

Went to see Dr. Prus on 9/7/16 about enlarged thyroid. Blood was taken and a thyroid biopsy would be needed. Dr. Pru told me that she would call with my results and set up the biopsy, that was six weeks ago. I can't begin to tell you how many times I have called her office to get my results, not mentioning the biopsy. I have left my number so many times and she has not returned my calls. Had to call my insurance company to refer me to another doctor. Do not waste your time with her.
