She has no social and interaction skills. You wonder how she gets away with that and why she is practicing medicine. She can make money working outside her current field. Physicians need compassion, communicative skills, patience to listen to patients and humility in order to accomplish their life saving mission.

My opinion is that she does not seem competent. She also was not available and caused numerous delays in my dad's discharge from INOVA Fairfax.

Dr. Vanikar is the rudest Dr. I have ever met. My father had a stroke and we were in the hospital for 5 long days. On the day of discharge, we wrote down some basic questions so we can ask her. And when we asked her, she was rude, short, sarcastic and very humiliating. She was talking like we were stupid. One of my questions was that, can he drive and her answer was basically that he did not have a stroke in his eyes so he can obviously drive. I do not recommend her at all.
