Dr. Blackmon is a fine internist. As I approached eighty, I wanted a doctor who would take care of my health issues and provide advice to keep me vertical. Dr. Blackmon doing that. The Cleveland Clinic relationship provides comprehensive blood analysis annually as part of the included annual physical. He takes his time. He is always focused on you. I can call him anytime and have his cell number. All of this makes MDVIP worthwhile.

Review of Dr. Blackmon
My wife and I are in our second year with Dr Blackmon as our primary care physician. We both cannot be more pleased with his professional care. He is a professional in the true meaning of the word. His depth of medical knowledge and his care for his patients is quite evident. He employs a staff that highly meets up to our expectations.

Dr. Blackmon is my Primary Physician.
He gave me his personal cell number. Called occasionally for emergency reasons. Normally call his terrific office staff to relay a question to Dr. Blackmon. He has always called me back to discuss question. Tell folks that my Primary doctor is wise.

I would highly recommend Dr. Blackmon Jr because he is very pro preventative medicine and if there is a problem he is proactive in getting the problem solved immediately. He is always very informative about any situation and very compassionate. The staff is very helpful and nice to work with. The telephones are answered immediately and not rolled over to voicemail. I have never had to wait when I was there so it is well organized with appointments scheduled. The office is clean.

Dr. Blackmon has been my doctor for 38 years. I have recommended Dr. Don Blackmon to several of my friends who are now his patients. In all the years I have been his patient, he has never seemed to be in a hurry. He will spend extra time explaining the medications, test, or procedures to insure I am well informed. He is ALWAYS encouraging me to exercise and to be pro-active with my health. He is FANTASTIC!!!

Dr. Blackmon and staff are always there when I need them. A number of years ago my doctor retired & I was unsure of my choices. On recommendation of several friends, I met with Dr. Blackmon and was very impressed with him. He makes you feel at ease & you can talk to him and he listens. I was starting to have blood sugar problems, but following his plan of weight loss, exercise & the best food possible, diabetes has been avoided. I am very lucky to have Dr. Blackmon on my side.
