November 2023 Dr Delwood did a CIMT for me. As he worked, he checked and rechecked his observations. He then sat down, took a moment to think. His demeanor was contained, a bit serious even before he spoke. When he did he calmly informed me that I have blockage in both carotid arteries. One side was 50%, the other 40% or so. When I asked he confirmed that there might be additional blockage elsewhere but, of course, that was not part of this test. He discussed potential care options and answered my questions. When I left I was aware of diagnosis, incidence in others in my age group, next steps, and possible treatment options. He did not fly at me—I noticed. He did not flail—I noticed. As a chronic patient with over 55 years experience in dealing with both wonderful and dire health news I appreciate those times when my doctor delivers challenging news with a calm and thoughtful demeanor. Thank you, Dr Delwood, I noticed and I’m grateful you are my doctor.

I can't think of a better patient experience than Dr. Don Delwood /MDVIP. Dr. Delwood is quick to respond when I am feeling sick and communicates with me or sees me/appointment the very same day. He is an excellent listener and communicator, thorough in examinations and medical tests and refers when needed. In addition, I feel like his knowledge base is extensive and he stays current with new medical information. Highly recommend.

Don't trust him. Rude to women and unprofessional. Lied to us.

He treated my mother in the hospital and it was a bad experience. He is rude and unprofessional. That is my opinion. She almost died in his care.

After having him treating my mother in the hospital, I would not recommend him to anyone. Between him and two nurses they put my family through pure hell. I say run to another doctor before you try him.
