All around wonderful Doctor and Staff!
Since January 2024, I have had wonderful service! The staff was and is great! I was treated with kindness, respect and compassion on all of my visits. Dr. Fridley, Dr. Liz, Marcia, Damian and Tameka are all supportive in all that they do! Liz goes over all my questions on procedures, Damian helps me with healthy eating options and improving my eating habits. Tameka helps me with important details on my insurance and medication process. Marcia helps me making my day go smooth with easy access to appointments and quick questions with a smile! All around each staff member provides attention and dedication!

Weight Loss
Dr. Fridley and his staff are amazing! They have been beyond supportive every step of the way as I prepare for weight loss surgery. Marcia greets you with a smile every time you visit. Tamika has been so helpful with insurance, and never fails to make you feel comfortable. Liz and Dr. Fridley are so knowledgeable. I’ve never felt rushed in an appointment, and never been made to feel like any of my questions are stupid. They are great listeners, and make you feel like a true partner in the process. Last, but not least, Damian is a wealth of knowledge about nutrition and makes the transition to a healthier lifestyle seem manageable and not quite so overwhelming. I’m so thankful I chose this office for my weight loss journey!

Emergency room
I went to the hospital last Monday with horrible stomach pain and ended up having appendicitis. Dr. Fridley had me in and out of surgery by Tuesday. The care I had was excellent and he made me feel really comfortable and answered all my questions I had before my surgery. The relief I felt after having my appendix removed was great as well as my after care.

LAP BAND REMOVAL
. He further explained that normally the removal is an outpatient surgery without any complications, but he would not know for sure until he got in there. I agreed that the Lap Band had to be removed and he went ahead and scheduled it asap for outpatient surgery. After our consultation, I felt relieved that I was going to receive competent and personal care. Dr. Fridley tailors his treatment surgery specifically for each patient. The surgery did not go as expected. He found that the Lap Band was deteriorated and damaged the stomach lining, which he had to repair and also the tubing grew into my colon and damaged that also. Fortunately, he was able to cut out the damaged area and re-attach it. I firmly believe that he was able to do this because he is a truly gifted surgeon and awesome doctor. He is professional,competent,caring,respectful and personal. He truly cares about each and every patient, and I highly recommend anyone to his care. Also,his surgical team and office staff.

Can not say enough good things about Dr Fridley and his staff. From my very first phone call to their office,through out the pre surgery, surgery and now post op visits. Dr Fridley and his staff have been outstanding, professional and always willing to take the time to answer all my questions and concerns. 3 months from my surgery and down nearly 80 lbs. Thank you Dr. Fridley and all your staff.

Bariatric Surgery
Had a gastric bypass. The whole office was amazing start to finish. They all took their time to make sure that they were comfortable throughout the whole process.

Dr. Fridley was wonderful!!
Dr. Fridley came to my rescue when I was sent to HCA Florida Trinity Hospital from my doctor's office with an infected gallbladder. Dr. Fridley was a calming and kind very professional surgeon who put me at ease and performed a laparoscopic cholecystectomy with minimal incisions. He followed up with me in the hospital, again so calm and kind reassuring me everything was fine. Follow up in his office with friendly staff was also a pleasure. I highly recommend Dr. Fridley for his expertise and his kind, calm manner.

Dr. Friedley operated on my 91 yr old grandmother; he showed compassion and care; he called to explain what was done to her and made me feel secure in his abilities to care for her! I thank him so very much for saving my grandmother!!!!

Dr. Fridley saved my life. I came into the ER. He was the surgeon on call. One thing he told me was he never "says never." Thanks to him I'm able to eat dinner with my wife and run around with my grandkids again. I would recommend him and his practice to any of my friends or family members.

Outstanding Surgeon
My husband needed to have emergency surgery to remove his appendix and we were BLESSED to have Dr. Fridley! He is not only proficient in his abilities, but he is professional, caring, and has a heart of gold! In the hospital he came to see my husband daily, answered any questions that we had and made us feel as if he was his only patient. He has a phenomenal bedside manner, a great sense of humor, and we would 110% highly recommend him!

Confidence in my Doctor
I also found Dr. Fridley to be very caring & competent. As I explained earlier Dr. Fridley took the time to explain exactly how he was going to do the surgery. Office staff was very pleasant and competent.

He is fantastic!
Dr Fridley, on 11/14/21, saved my colon after a nearly four hour surgery, at Bayonet point hospital. I am so GRATEFUL, he is the man who cares about his patients, and strangers like me! He could have looked at how my colon was wrapped up in the two layers of hernia repair mesh,and left me with a colostomy bag for the rest of my life. Instead, Dr Fridley worked on me, leaving me with a temporary colostomy bag for 6 months. March 29th, he will be putting my colon back together,and removing the bag. I am so grateful! THANK YOU, FOR GIVING YOUR BEST, DR DONALD FRIDLEY, YOU ARE A RARE BREED!

Dr Fridley took care of me while I was an inpatient with a GI hemorrhage when I was about two weeks post-op from gastric bypass surgery performed by a different surgeon in another city. I was very happy with the care I received and the time Dr Fridley spent with me while I was an inpatient.

I would rate a no star if possible . Rude, unkind, unprofessional, & argumentative with me as a patient about himself & his office!!! I honestly am in disbelief about his behavior. I have been going to Dr Fridley since February of 2021 as a last hope to keep weight off. First two appointments were ok, he seemed kind and competent. He said I was a candidate for the sleeve surgery. Today was suppose to be MY LAST PRE SURGERY appointment but they had NONE of my records, they couldn’t even tell me if I had lost weight since my last appointment (which is extremely important seeing the type of appointment it was). His office secretary quit today. He is unprofessional and he went off on me because I told him so. I forgot the book (he had written) & didn’t remember one of the answer so he said I wasn’t ready to have surgery. So I have wasted over $1000 on doctors, approval letters, and procedures for nothing!!!!!!! Do yourself a favor DO NOT use this Doctor!! He will just leave you frustrate
