Dr. Donald Kaminsky, MD

Dr. Kaminsky does not listen to his patient. Has a terrible attitude and bedside manner. He said I had an eating disorder when I came to him precisely because I wanted to eat and could not. He pursued a psych route for what turned out to be a very severe case of Crohn's disease. I would not recommend him at all. He made me feel invalidated, he laughed at my suffering, and he was ultimately clinically wrong about so many things: from having no understanding of conditions such as endometriosis, to showing clear neglect in delicate matters such as eating disorders, to being unaware that IV sights weren't working because of severe dehydration. This doctor left me sicker than when I initially sought his care. He is ignorant and arrogant.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kaminsky's for over 10 years and cannot speak highly enough of him. He is incredibly knowledgeable, so kind (and funny), and always makes time for me whatever issue I happen to have. And he listens. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars. (P.S. one of the other reviewers mentioned billing issues -- I have to disagree, his office is super helpful and I've never had any issues.)

This doctor is only interested in billing billing billing. You cannot ask a question or have a form filled out unless you make an appt, wait and pay. I have never had a more disinterested dr (unless he could bill).

I moved to New York 26 years ago at the age of 26 and now I'm 52 and Dr. Kaminsky has been my doctor and still is! He is not only an amazing Doctor but an amazing man and has the bedside manner you want in your doctor-caring, full of compassion, full of knowledge with great wisdom and always gives the best advice. He always lifts my spirits up with his sense of humor and smile. I always leave his office knowing I received the best care and I am in good hands.

My experience with Dr Kaminsky has been above average and he is kind, gentle and extremely honest. He has been my Physician for many years and I am extremely happy. He has a heart of gold, and cares for all of his patients with respect and honor. Who can ask for more in a Doctor? He always puts your mind at ease, if you have concerns, which I had many in my case. As far as I am concern he is going to be my doctor for a longtime!

I have had the honor of being Donald Kaminsky's patient for over 20 years. Boy, how much has he had to put up with ME! Indeed...... the years have deepened our friendship and we barely need to talk-------he knows the latest drama occurring in my convoluted life and finds the exact way to handle it all. He is an extraordinarily brilliant gentleman, with the bedside manner of a great therapist. He has not only literally kept me ALIVE but his cultivation and deep humanity make it all joyous! GO!
