Jekyll and Hyde
I have seen Dr. Lee for 3 appointments in the past 7 months & he has seemed disinterested in my concerns and unfamiliar with my history each time. He gives short, unhelpful responses to my questions. For instance, when I asked to hear more about the surgery I potentially need and how serious it is, he said simply “it’s a surgery.” That’s all he would offer me. I had to ask each question individually: how invasive is it? How commonplace? How long is the general recovery time needed for this surgery? Etc. In EVERY interaction I have with him, it’s like pulling teeth to get info! And he doesn’t knock before entering or acknowledge when I say “thank you.” I checked his reviews online & he gets mostly rave reviews of being thorough, competent, compassionate and informative — interspersed with a few reviews that sound exactly like my experiences. It’s like there are two different versions of him, and I’ve only been scheduled with the one who resents having to see patients.

I was not at all happy with Dr Lee. He really didn’t seem to take interest in my problems. I would ask him a question and he would give you a 6 or 8 word answer. Really didn’t seem to be that interested. I’m 5 months out on carpal tunnel surgery and I still can’t put much pressure on my hand where he did the work. I’m just not very happy with Dr Lee.

I took my 11-year-old son to see Dr. Lee after he severely injured his hand. Not only is he is hand going to become fully functional again, Dr. Lee and his staff made us all feel very comfortable and explain things extremely well. I would highly recommend Dr. Lee to any family or friends who had hand problems or injuries.

Dr. Lee and his staff have been amazing! I broke my humerus bone in Jan 2018. Dr. Lee made my surgery and recovery as painless as possible. At every follow up, he has been very thorough , answered all questions and provided recommendations. I would recommend him to friends and family in need of orthopedic surgery.

I was his first appt for the day. He spent an adequate amount of time going over my history and examining my arm along with going over surgery options. I was there for a second opinion but he didn't make me feel like I was wasting his time. Answered all if my questions. He gave me peace of mind in my surgery decision.

I broke my right wrist (at age 69). I'm very heavily right handed, so it was difficult to do much with my left hand. Dr. Lee was patient, he listened and seemed to me to make everything look easy. I have full mobility of my right wrist now, for which I'm very thankful. The process with this group can feel odd (x-ray, casting room, doc visit), but it works. I was very pleased and grateful to get the use of my hand back!!

I found Dr. Lee to be very professional and at the same time, very caring. He was always prompt, easy to talk with, more than willing t answer questions, and with a good sense of humor. I felt that the treatment i received was timely and appropriate.
