Dr. Pacione is an outstanding surgeon - from his consultation, where he clearly and patiently explained my diagnosis to my family and me - through to my surgery, where he demonstrated his true expertise. He is professional, astute, and caring. I feel fortunate to have been in his care.

Dr. Pacione has been incredible every time I have seen him. He is an excellent listener. He takes time to explain what is going on in easy to understand ways. I have been amazed at his ability to troubleshoot when something isn't straight forward. I am so grateful for all the help he has given me with my IIH condition.

Look no further! Dr. Pacione is your man! So compassionate and skillled at what he does. His team made everything seamless for me. He removed my meningioma and I was home from hospital and fully functional in 2 days. He checks in with you himself every step of the way. There are still doctors out there like this and the world is lucky to have him! Can’t say enough about my positive experience.

I had a craniotomy for an extra-axial benign tumor called a meningioma two and a half days ago. This surgeon did such an awesome job that the MRI could not detect the remaining portion he had to leave on the vessel. The vessel expanded as the flow re-established. On day two I did a drawing, contacted all my friends via text and calls, and ate all my meals. On day three I danced to my favorite song on my phone app. Its still day three; and I went home, walked up one flight of stairs easily, and ate all my food. I am fully restored aside from a stiff neck. I did not get any vision changes that were expected. I was surprised that hardly any of my hair was shaved. I will look great after a shampoo on day five. Thank you, Dr Pacione!!

Excellent doctor compassionate and listens to his patients

Dr Pacione removed a meningioma from a very delicate spot nestled among my wife’s 7th and 8th nerves, which control hearing, facial control, and swallowing. We were very nervous that there would be permanent damage. But Dr Pacione is a pro. He was so prepared for our first consultation (unlike Dr Steig of Cornell-Weill), he was highly intelligent, listened and responded carefully to our questions, and when it came time for surgery did an absolutely stellar job. He’s a rising star.

Saw me exactly at our scheduled time. It was clear he spent time before our appointment reviewing my file. Spent considerable time discussing my symptoms and evaluating my case. Recommended a subsequent X-Ray - called me within 2 hours of the test to give me the results. I highly recommend this physician.

We found Dr. Pacione from referring physician Dr. Cooper. He is patient, easy to understand, smart, and kind. He is thorough, compassionate and truly cares about us. Highly recommend him. His office staff are wonderful as well especially Janine who we see before meeting with Dr. Pacione.

Dr. Pacione is a phenomenal physician, from him to his entire team, they took excellent care of me. I was diagnosed with a severe herniated disk, I saw three local doctors, however with my past history, they were hesitant to treat me. Dr P, went above and beyond finding other things wrong, that I think would have gone unnoticed. I really did not have an option due to my severe condition, so we opted for a 4 level cervical fusion. I had a great result with the talented hands of Dr. Pacione.

Dr Donato Pacione is a highly skilled neurosurgeon who removed a benign tumor located between my Spinal cord and my spine due to my condition:Neuro fibroma tosis type 2 (NF2) in October 2016. Dr P. Was confidant and reassuring during my consult. Spent time answering my many questions. Surgery was an overwhelming success with no complications. An excellent staff that cares from the front desk to the MA to PA to the DR himself. He uncovered a condition that other DR's did not look for. I know I am in great hands as my previous Neurosurgeon that practiced at NYU recommended him. Will be having surgery 2/2017 for a large herniation and calcification in my C-spine.

Dr. Pacione and his team are professional, highly skilled, and caring. Where other doctors do the procedures that THEY prefer, Dr. Pacione carefully considers (and performs) the procedure that is best for the patient. He is brilliant, and also a true gentleman with a great bedside manner. Would highly recommend him!
