Dr. Donna Benford, DO

Dr Benford is a great doctor. Listens and sympathizes, looks for ways to save you money on Rx. My family and I have been seeing her for years. Highly recommend!

Incompetent office staff and apathetic doctor. Been going here for a while and never really been pleased with the doctor. She had a really good nurse practitioner and she left (makes sense why she left now). Recently I was scheduled with an MRI provider 3 weeks ahead. Bedford's office was supposed to send a insurance pre approval and never did. The MRI provider contacted them again a week before my procedure and told them to send it in and still nothing. Got a call 3 days before my procedure and was told by MRI provider they could not keep my appointment because my primary care never sent in the approval. Called Benford's office and they lied to me and told me that the MRI people had just that day sent in the request. Bedford's office knowing full well they are part of a PHO that they are responsible for this just didn't do it. I got upset (didn't swear) and told her that I don't care what they have to do I want my MRI and I am not willing to wait another 3 weeks because they messed

Amazing, Dr. Benford has always been caring and helpful to me. She looks for cause and researches to find out the best way to treat what is going on. She goes the extra mile.

Horribly rude receptionists on the phone. Didn’t send my script to the right place after telling them the correct pharmacy. I called and left a voicemail & they claimed they called back and left a voicemail in response, but they did not. Had to spend all afternoon calling them to get them to try and fix the issue. The receptionist told me she would see “if” it could be taken care of. Haven’t gotten a call back in over an hour now. Now I have to spend ANOTHER day with a UTI, and call into work!

It has been a pleasure to have Dr. Benford as my primary care physician. She has always been friendly, willing to take the time to listen to my concerns and then provide appropriate care or suggestions for care. Looking for a primary care doc? Donna is the one!

More interested in billable hours and doing what an insurance company wants her to do than to consider the patient requests/needs. Rude Medical Assistant.

Did not take my pain seriously and did very little to find the underline cause for my pain. She called me a lair, and suggested that the pain was all in my head. Instead of trying to find the cause of my pain, she prescribed me antidepressant. The pain was real, I suffered for many years, I felt as if I would die. Thankfully I did not. I was able to get the professional help I needed elsewhere. However the medications she prescribed over the years and her lack of care, took its toll on my body.
