Dr. Donny Reeves, MD

Very intelligent, confident, and very kind. He is attentive to what you tell him is troubling you and listens, and will answer your questions. He asks you to ask him any questions you have, so have them written down if you need to and ask away. He always gives you information, and he will help you, he is a caring Doctor. Dr. Reeves has his own practice and is very dedicated to his patients and his staff. Everyone that works there is a reflection of this dedicated Doctor. I have had procedures done and am happy and satisfied with his skilled work and his honesty. I recommend him very highly.

Reeves Us an Amazing Doctor, His Staff are Amazing Too, They Work Well Together and Make You Feel Important when you go to the office in Kingsport, Johnson, Tn and even Better when you have your eye ??? Surgery!!!! What an awesome ?? Family that Works So Well Together, the Atmosphäre was GREAT ??

Wife had Surgery on both eyes a week apart, 18 and 25 May22. Was told I needed to pay 976.87 up front , my part. Insurance paid 100%, within a week of each surgery. Contacted the billing department and have been given the run around and finger pointing. Have talked to 4 different people who where handling my account. Now my calls/emails are being ignored. It is now 30Sep22 still waiting.

I had lasik surgery performed by Dr. Reeves. It was on of the most painful experiences I've ever had. No explanation, no apology. I still have to wear contacts and glasses. I was terribly dissatisfied with his bedside manner and lack of professionalism. He did not address my concerns or his inability to perform the surgery without pain. I paid for the surgery and STILL have to buy glasses and contacts.

The Reeves Eye Institute, JC -- has a terrible billing dept as far as processing refunds. I was overcharged in Oct 2016; and they have admitted they owe me. They initially said they'd process my refund and it'd take 10-12 weeks to receive it. Wow. If you think that's a long time -- just know that it's March 21st, 2017 and I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY REFUND. They said, oh, we do not know why it didn't process...we'll resubmit and it'll be another3 MONTHS. NO I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM. Bad Buss

I had to switch from a good eye Dr to reeves because Ebberhart couldn't do a tearduct replacement.Dr Winstead done the operation.I have some trouble after changing to reeves he's just not as thurough as ebberhart,Dr reeves has has my girlfriend & I come in to the office several times they always say were there on the wrong day or time (5) to be exact them they set around and laugh about it..but we have bothfound a good DR now..I wouldn't advise anyone using these people!!!!!! Just check all DR

This man always seems rushed and always has quite a few patients waiting(he's good @ what he does). He is not into small talk. His staff is very nice! The waiting time was not ridiculous. He was able to squeeze me in for an eye condition my family doctor was unable to diagnose (it was a rare thing, I found out from him)... Longer wait that one time but I understood that I was fortunate to be seen that day and was thankful I was able to be squeezed in! All other appts I waited 20 mins max.
