Dr. Dorothy Jones, MD

Dr. Jones was my childhood doctor up until my late teens. As an adult now, I look back at my experiences with her, and am SHOCKED that she still has her license. Dr. Jones was a patronizing, cold, compassionless doctor whose poor medical decisions impacted my life severely. I needed a doctor to listen to my needs and CARE - but instead got judgemental rants that included slutshaming (like commenting on my underwear during exams, my sexual activity, etc.), rude commentary, and an all around negative response. I came to her for help due to suicidal thoughts and severe depression at 14. I was prescribed a high dosage of meds that were refilled for over 4years without her property rechecking if they were working. My fragile mental health was not properly monitored, I think she threw a high dose of meds at me to get me to shutup. I truly think I would’ve gotten the help I needed a long time ago if she had listened to me. This wasn’t the only big medical issue dismissed by her.

Excellent physician; I trust her recommendations; she offers experienced advice; excellent listening skills; professional “bed-side manner; knowledgeable and experienced. A wonderful, high-quality doctor.

Wonderful caring knowledgeable doctor

Went to this physician for help with high blood pressure. Found this physician to be patronizing and uncaring in her assessment and treatment. I was placed on a medication totally inappropriate for my situation, resulting in many side effects. Lost months before I made a change, which after switching physicians was able to receive proper care, appropriate medication and a much better health outcome.

Dr Jones was thorough, caring and reviewed everything I could imagine. I have been seeing her for many years now and I have not been disappointed. She takes the necessary time to listen to my concerns and then addresses them all. I never feel rushed. I would highly recommend her!

I went in to see Dr. Jones because I was having breast swelling and pain and have a family & personal high risk factor for developing breast cancer. I told the staff my appointment was for a referral for breast imaging. Dr. Jones refused to send me for imaging and told me I had anxiety, no breast problems, even though I have a history of breast pain. She also lied to me stating that a mammogram & ultrasound weren't covered by my plan. I would not recommend Dr. Jones to anyone.

I am in the healthcare profession and Dr. Jones is an excellent primary care physician. She is very thorough, spends ample amount of time understand problems. Staff is very professional and courteous in office. Another RN recommended Dr. Jones. Excellent physician with excellent bedside manners.
