Dr. Dorothy Odom, MD

I love Dr. Odom, and trust me I do not just love any doctor. Dr. Odom is so kind and understanding and I couldn't ask for a better OBGYN. After suffering a miscarriage and multiple complications, Dr. Odom was empathetic and even extended hugs to me multiple times. If you're looking for an amazing OBGYN, look no further!

I would not recommend this office to anyone. I had to switch OBGYN's due to my insurance changing and found Dr. Odom's office. From my first initial experience it was ok. They never answer the phones, and the receptionist is never polite. After my first appointment I never received a call back with my test results. Cannot day enough good things about the care I have received from Dr Odom over the past 7-8 yrs I have been her GYN patient. I was sched to have a hysterectomy May ‘18 and my ins co changed their acceptance policy and was not going to cover it. She went to bat for me for about a month protesringnwith my ins co in peer to peer reviews — I cannot be happier that the procedure got approved and was told by another surgeon who was in OR that he was impressed with her techniques!

Dr. Odom is by far the best OB/GYN I've ever encountered. She makes you feel comfortable and reassured you in such a calming manner. Her bedside manner is amazing! She delivered my second child and was amazing beyond words. My husband was even sad at our 6 week postpartum check up, that we wouldn't see her every month. She's so calm and very understanding. I love her and will always recommend her!

Dr. Odom is courteous and polite without wasting time. My annual visits are relatively quick and painless. The staff is always friendly and I've never had any negative experiences. I enjoy Dr. Odom's "bedside manner" and am never uncomfortable during my visits.

This doctor is insensitive to her patients.

I can tell Dr. Odom really cares. She listens and explains everything thoroughly. She breaks down complicated information into very simple terms and I trust her decisions for my healthcare. I did have an issue come up with the front desk and I had addressed it with management in an appropriate manner. My concern was resolved quickly, professionally and with great care. I can relax knowing that Dr. Odom is my doctor.

History of pre-cancer. She took 2 biopsies. Two months later called the office for results which they had but never forwarded to me. I had asked for referral to GYN oncologist but they didn't send results to him either. Said they didn't have his fax number even though it was on referral form they gave me. Most incompetent staff I've ever dealt with. More interested in generating income than patients.

Dr. Odom has always been nice, but I need to comment on her staff who do not care about you or your problems. Dr. Odom reassured me that my treatment request would be completed by the end of the year, but 2 weeks after my appointment the benefits coordinator still has not done her job and now the Dr will be out for the rest of the year for the holidays. After a 3-way conference call with my insurance that I initiated, she's still waiting for them to call her back when they specifically told her

I would not recommend this doctor. I waited 4 months for an appointment, then waited hour and a half in the waiting room only to be called back to wait in a cold room half dressed for another hour. She came in and spend less then 10 mins for exam and all. I didn't get to take her and of the issues I am having before she was out of the room. She ordered blood work and U/S and she said I would need to see a specialist. Well after calling 3 times for my lab test and U/S results 2 wks later no call.

Disappointed b/c I just recvd a call (Aug 17) from Dr. Odom's office exactly 1 hour prior to my appointment explaining they are unable to see me as my PCP is not a part of the Phys Assoc Group. This is a big inconvenience to my schedule especially since I made the appointment a couple wks ago, sent them my insurance info, and spoke to them over the phone to be sure they accepted my insurance. On Aug 10 they even sent me an email confirm. This feedback is based solely on the appt experience.

She's an amazing doctor she went above and beyond for me throughout my high risk pregnancy , I could go on and on about how wonderful she is. I highly recommend her !

I found this lady's name via nextdoor. Apperently our neighbors love her. I've gone to the same gyno for 15+ yrs. But he does not do the OB side anymore. I learnes I was pg last week, but began to bleed over the weekend. Called her office for an apt because I heard she and her staff are so great and good at seeing emergencies and I'm told I have to go to the hospital (?) what? Why? Because I'm not an established patient? Yet the wevsite says accepting new patients!
