Horrible front desk staff
My insurance required a referral, which I confirmed was faxed from my PCP. The front desk lady at the Wexford office was rude and not accommodating. She told me I wasn’t able to be seen for my appointment time because she claimed the referral never received. I drove 50 minutes to be turned away. The front desk staff threw up their arms and said they absolutely would not see me. How am I to know that my referral wasn’t received if it was confirmed from my PCP and no phone call from this office?! I’m not a mind reader. A great doctor like Dr. Chen should demand a better front desk staff. First impressions are important, just not to these people.

Dr. Chen explained the type of surgery I would have to remove the acoustic neuroma affecting my hearing, balance, fatigue and nausea. He and his team were amazing and even though I knew I would lose the rest of the hearing in my right ear, I felt I was very well taken care of and treated by the best staff during my short hospital stay. My follow up care is on-going and I am blessed and fortunate that Dr. Chen will continue to assess my condition.

staff says they sent exam to pcp but didn't. when questioned further they didn't even know how to reach the pcp which means they lied when they said they sent it the first time. sandy is also very rude on the phone. no manners. no apparent interest in helping. just want to say anything they can to get you off the phone. go elsewhere.
