Dr. Edwards is very kind and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer my many questions and helped me make the decision to have surgery. During the surgery he was very calming and reassuring which I greatly appreciated. When I needed a second procedure he explained the procedure and what to expect. When I had a complication/side effect he made sure I was scheduled right away and helped provide treatment options. I highly recommend him.

when Dr Edwards performed my first cataract surgery he said that I was his highest correction (I am no longer). that was in 2006. after that he did lasik giving me mono vision allowing for uncorrected vision for the first time since I was in early elementary school. after the lasik surgery I was put on eye drop to reduce my eye pressures. about a year after that I asked to stop taking the drops and he worked with me and I have been eye drop free since then. after my most recent visit my pressures were measured and they are rising once again and drops were once again prescribed but all of my options were presented. Dr Edward has brought me a long way with my vision and is continually making sure I have the best vision and healthy eyes possible.

I saw Dr. Edwards while visiting in the Wausau area. He was an extremely competent and caring ophthalmologist. He was willing to take the time to answer all of the questions I presented to him regarding my eye health concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Edwards to any individual looking for an excellent eye doctor in Wausau.

Dr Edwards did an amazing job with my lasik surgery. He is not only a great surgeon but has a wonderful bedside manner. He made me comfortable with my decision and I can’t say that I mind not wearing glasses or contacts ! It’s great to be able to play with the kids, swim and be active. Thank you Dr. Edwards!

I had cataract surgery with Dr. Edwards in Feb. 2013. Since then I have been dealing with double vision and trying to get the correct prism in my glasses to be comfortable. It has been a continuing frustration and expense. I feel he was distracted during my second eye procedure while talking with the representatives from the premium lense company and had difficulty placing that lense. When I talked to him he said it had NEVER happened before. I find this hard to believe. Very disappointed.

Phone call was not returned as promised Required several follow up efforts on my part. Exam was cursory, verbal nonspecific referral made, i.e.. you should see a surgeon in your area No written referral given, no sense of urgency, no diagnostic information that could be shared. Not impressed.
