Dr. Layton is exceptionally gifted and competent. He has excellent “bedside manner” — a very good listener, and articulate and responsive! He’s a very caring physician! I highly recommend him!

Dr. Layton is a fantastic physician! I saw him for many years while he was in Ankeny, and now that I have found him again, continue to see him in Polk City. I appreciate that he treats the cause of the symptoms, rather than just placing a band-aid on them. I find him to be very personable and caring, and I trust that you will, too. His nurse and the front desk staff are also five star recipients!

He doesn't know how to treat survivors of child abuse. He got snappy when I asked for a recommendation for a therapist. He asked, "What have you got to be so depressed about?" His tone was rude.

Dr Layton has been my doctor since I was 8 we drove to Ankeny (30 minutes away from home) just to keep appointments with him. I am now 20 and I cried when I heard he left Ankeny. But am so happy he will be continuing in Polk city where I will be going from now on.

Did not ask questions. After the first time visiting he was unaware that I did not have tonsils. I was never asked to fill out a medical history form or asked for this information. I have never had a doctor in and out so fast.
