SUPER RUDE !
I had a horrible experience with Dr. Savino. I took my son to pediatric associates and me a single mother, I have to go to work so I let grandma take my son to the doctor . My son had high fevers in the night and complained of his throat hurting . So I was not present at the appointment but I was on the phone with my mother so I can listen to the appointment and to Dr. Savino what had been going wrong he in a very rude fashion told my mother to turn off the phone that cell phones were not able. All I was trying to do was explain to him the events that happened that night and he rudely dismissed me ! Unprofessional !

Great Doctor and Staff!
Dr. Savino, was my son's doctor from birth until college. He was so amazing that when I moved I would drive an hour and a half just take my son to see him. In fact my son wish he was a general doctor so he could have kept seeing him. I remember once around the holidays he had gone on vacation and had to rush my son to the ER for a very bad cold. The staff doctor kept telling me he had an ear infection. I knew better. I called the office an left a message for Doug, and he had me come in the next day. He asked me how I know the doctor at the hospital was wrong and give me the correct meds. They don't make doctors like him any more. great since of humor and all around good guy. Daphne his assistant was also very nice....

No bedside manners whatsoever. Hard to believe he’s a pediatric doctor he was so rough with my sick 7 month old child. He was not friendly from the moment he walked in he had a scowl on his face. I was very disappointed because I wanted a doctor that would care . Do not go to Douglas Savino !! Horrible!

Horrible bed side manor
This was the most unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. He kept asking one question over and over in an attempt to "Mom Shame" me and the answer was always the same. Then he was upset with me for how the staff scheduled my appointment. I asked him how was that my fault...he told me it wasn't but still had a bad attitude. The office staff met with me after the visit because they overheard how he was speaking to me and apologized for his behavior. I will never go back to him.

I really wanted to like this doctor a lot however i took my 2 year old daughter for a physical and I informed him that she has a bad cold and he goes well she is only here for a physical so bring her back if it gets worse!! Well it sure DID!! Are you SERIOUS well she will NOT BE GOING back to see this doctor. You need to be in auto mechanics not the business of looking after children!

I have found Dr. Savino to be a positive factor in our two childrens’ good health. He is a “straight-shooter” who is sympathetic yet will be clear to both parents and kids as to what needs to be done, and what to expect. We have been with Dr. Savino for six years and will stay with him for the foreseeable future.

Dr. Savino has been my daughters pediatrician since birth. I don’t have any complaints. The office is clean, he answers all my questions and on at least 3 occasions I have taken my girls to the ER and once to urgent care only for them to be misdiagnosed. After these occurrences I brought them to Dr. Savino for a follow up and they were diagnosed appropriately and prescribed the appropriate medications, and recovered in no time.

Horrible! I called him up with concerns about my one month old being congested and he told me to give her Mucinex, when it clearly says DO NOT GIVE TO CHILDREN UNDER SIX MONTHS. I then went to the ER in the middle of the night to find out she had RSV and Pnuemonia. She was admitted to the hospital for 5 days and he called me to say he couldn't see me anymore because "I went behind his back and got admitted to the hospital". Very unprofessional and unethical. Does not care about his patients.

Stay away from this guy! After being my son's pediatrician for 2-1/2 years, this guy all of the sudden refuses to see my son. Recently, my son was running high fever and I called to get an appointment for the same day or next day but the doctor refused to see him. I was told that he didn't want to see him because I took him to an urgent care office in the middle of the night three weeks ago (sharp ear pain; his office was closed). No notification received, did not care about child's health.

You might want to think twice before selecting Dr. Savino as your child's pediatrician. You would think that they are kind and have patience since they deal w children as their patient, and it's the total opposite. Once you enter you are greeted by one of the rudest obnoxious person I've and my family members have ever met, she doesn't listen to your concern amor what your saying and when she replies always has an attitude. If this job annoys you so much you might want to switch paths.
